Xolo Win Q900S Will Be The First Windows Phone 8.1 Handset Launched For Rs. 11,999

Microsoft with the launch of Windows Phone 8.1 update has maximized the reach of the Windows Phone ecosystem. Recently, The Redmond software maker partnering with Micromax for Canvas Win line of smartphones, now honered Lava owned Xolo has jumped into Windows Phone bandwagon.

After launching its first ever Windows 8.1 tablet, the Xolo Win earlier this month, the Indian smartphone vendor has officially launched Win Q900S phone. Full details after this jump!


Xolo has unveiled its first and world’s lightest Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone, pricing Rs. 11,999. The Xolo Win Q900S will be available in July. But now, the WP 8.1 handset is listed for pre-orders with online retailers for Rs. 9,999, exclusively.

Features and Specifications

Although, this Xolo Win Q900S touts similar specs as the Micromax Canvas Win W121. Sports a 4.7-inch (1280×720 pixels) IPS HD  display, powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor, coupled with Adreno 302 GPU and 1GB of RAM.

This Xolo Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone also includes an 8GB of internal storage which can be expandable up to 32GB using microSD card. It also has a decent 1,800mAh battery.


Connectivity option on Xolo Win Q900S include dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Camera activity on this WP 8.1 handset comes with a  8-megapixel camera and the front has a 2-megapixel sensor, delivering 316 pixels per inch.
