Talking about the successor to the Redmi Note which is in the works now, Xiaomi’s next version phablet will be getting a little bit upgrade. A couple of weeks ago we saw what was purported to be short of its back cover.
And this time around, we got yet another leaked image – apparently showing its back or the upper part of it, anyway guess it.
Anyhow, when compared with the original Redmi Note this newer design is quite different from the one in the other leak, so these pitcures can’t both be real. Hopefully many more leaks about the next Redmi Note will come in the future and you’ll need to excercise some caution when assuming either of them.
Rumors that surfaced in the past claims that the Redmi Note 2 packs a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset with an octa-core CPU, sports a 5.5-inch full HD 1080p touchscreen, paired by a 2GB of RAM, dual-SIM support, and backed up by a 3,500mAh battery and also said it will be featuring a 13-megapixel rear camera.
In the image that landed today shows up an inscription touting its resolution near the camera, and it’s not clearly saying 13.0MP. More like 8MP, though it’s hard to tell literally. Either the Redmi Note will sport an 8-megapixel primary snapper, or this leaked picture is showing us some other device.
Although, ahed of its official launch, the next Redmi Note has been alleged to cost just CNY 1,499, which roughly goes around $245 or €193.
