Xiaomi Launches Redmi Note Entry-Level Android Phablet In India For Rs. 9,999

As expected, talked about Xiaomi launching the Mi3 in to the Indian market, and it did officially and also unveiled two new smartphones, Xiaomi Redmi 1S and the other Redmi Note, which is the company’s latest phablet device announced back in March. The Redmi Note has been priced at Rs. 9,999.

The Xiaomi Note scheduled for a late August entry into the Indian market. The phablet features a 5.5-inch 720×1280 pixel IPS-LCD display with an approximate pixel density of 267ppi. Its a dual-SIM tablet-cum-smartphone with dual standby support.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MTK6592 SoC, coupled with Mali-450MP4 GPU and 2GB of RAM.  Runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with the MIUI v5 skin on top. Sports a 13-megapxiel rear autofocus camera with LED flash, as well as a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera. It comes with 8GB of built-in storage along with microSD card expandability (up to 32GB).

The Redmi Note packs with a 3100mAh battery, weighs 199 grams, and has dimensions of 154×78.7×9.5 mm. Connectivity options include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with Direct and hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB with OTG, and GPS/ A-GPS.
