So, Microsoft is now looking to make some major changes in store for its latest version of its operating systems. It would appear that some information have been came out on the Microsoft’s mobile platform – a video detailing the new features of Windows Phone 8, apparently codenamed Apollo, which is originally intended for MS smartphones partner.

Windows Phone 8 details revealed in video to Nokia?

The leaked details points that the Windows Phone 8 will be released after the WP Tango update, which also reveals more in a video from Microsoft’ WIN Phone manager oe Belifoire, and the video was intended for Microsoft’s partners at Nokia.

The access to the video has already grabbed by the guys from PocketNow – the report, Windows Phone 8 will support multi-core processors, a total of four new screen resolutions and the addition of removable SD card storage.

Windows Phone 8 to offer support for NFC (Near Field Communications), and it will come along with some sort of contact less payment systems which Microsoft calls it the “Wallet experience”. Might be similar to Google’s Wallet?

According to PocketNow:

developers will be able to use most of the same code when porting a Windows 8 app over to the Windows Phone platform. Of course, both platforms will share the same Metro-style interface, and that NFC radio will allow for tap-to-share capabilities between various Windows 8 devices.

Means, the individual mobile acrriers will be able to control Microsoft’s NFC payment system, by a secure element on the devices actual SIM card or by the build in hardware of the device.

Few months go, Microsoft released Windows 8 developer edition to the public to experience the future operating system, now the Company intends to release Windows Phone 8 at the same time when Windows 8 launches, which is expected before this year 2012 or before November.
