Rumored about Samsung planning to introduce the world with a premium variant of its flagship smartphone, speculated as the Samsung Galaxy F. Expected the device with a metal body, and the Galaxy F leaked agin a few days ago in what looked like a press image.
Now we got two new sets of images of the alleged Galaxy F device, leaked in the wild on the internet via anonymous tipsters. Images of the purported device this time seems actual photographs, showcased both the front and back of the phone, with a brushed metal finish on the rear that could very well just be plastic with metal finish.
Two set of images shows the alleged Samsung Galaxy F in black color variant, in-line with previously leaked images featuring a brushed metal finish in the back panel. Last week, the famous tipster @evleaks had also posted a press image rendered pf the rumored device in white color variant. “Another alleged image of the supposed Samsung Galaxy F,” the tweet read.

Although the leaked phone looks quite similar to the Galaxy S5, and the screen shows the Galaxy F logo with the now compulsory ‘Powered by Android” logo. And what seems to be the heart rate sensor below the rear camera (rumoured as a 16-megapixel sensor with added OIS).
Other than that, the alleged premium variant the Galaxy F aka Galaxy S5 Prime will also have an aluminium chassis instead of the chrome plastic frame.
Specification and features rumored for Galaxy F also include a 5.3-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixel) screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, and 3GB of RAM. It is also reported to be a limited edition smartphone, due to the expensive nature of its Super AMOLED QHD display.
Rumored specs for the alleged Galaxy S5 Prime will come with the octa-core Exynos 5430; Samsung is expected to opt for a 2.1GHz and 1.5GHz clocking speed on the ARM Cortex-A15 and Cortex-A7 cores respectively, and boast of a small boost in CPU power compared to previous iterations.
The device is reportedly to launch sometime in August or September before Apple presents the iPhone 6 with larger screen. Samsung will certainly not introduce the device on its upcoming ‘Samsung Galaxy Premiere 2014’ event in New York on June 12, where it is expected to showcase its new Galaxy Tab S series of AMOLED tablets.
