The GSM Samsung Galaxy Nexus Will Be First To Get Android 5.0 Jelly Bean Update

A new report surfaced about the Google’s new iteration of its mobile OS – Android 5.0 Jelly Bean that would be launched sometime in third quarter of 2012. Following the rumored news which looks like its been headed to the GSM Samsung Galaxy Nexus first and that could only apply for the unlocked GSM versions.

This was to be the Google’s next iteration of mobile OS which was actully rumored as Android 5.0 and codenamed Jelly Bean and regarding the update that comes from the crash log refers to mysterous software profile called “takju” which has been discovered by the guys over Android Police. Which seems that the Google using it to test Jelly Bean and the real difference between “takju” variant and the regular unlocked Galaxy Nexus is the source to support the Google Wallet.

The rumor also points that the GSM Galaxy Nexus in the Google Play Store might be the first smartphone to get the Android 5.0 and that would also give the tradition of giving first bids to Nexus range of devices for major Android releases.
