1. One technique is to use AdBlock Plus on Firefox or Chrome. In AdBlock Plus, click on “Add your own Filter” and add the following script

Now, just refresh your Facebook Page and the News Ticker is gone.
2. In Chrome Web Browser, just install Unannoying Facebook extension to get rid of the News Ticker.
3. You can also get rid of the Facebook News Ticker by installing the Better Facebook Chrome Extension . Now, in advanced mode, copy the below script in the CSS Options.
