Have you noticed that now a days Google plus pages are increasingly becoming a part of Google search results, and increasing public spat about Google and Twitter. Details after the jump!

Even though Google is not providing the most reverent social results, Twitter argues by promoting Google+ in search results. Meanwhile, Google has implied and they are going to promote more pages from Twitter after getting a proper permission from them. Twitter general council Alex Macgillivray then tweeted an example of why he thought Google’s new results were inefficient: Google search results for the search term “@WWE” — yes, with the “@” symbol — that did not include the organization’s Twitter page.

Now Google has confirmed that it has never indexed the “@” symbol. In other words, the search engine has never recognized a Twitter handle when it was formatted that way. So while we are searching for “WWE Twitter” organizations Twitter feed before its Google+ page, “@WWE” returns the same results as “WWE” — in this case, with Google+ results first. Anyway searching in “+WWE” leads to reach the Profile of Google+.The symbol which is used by the company is very nice. For the last five years people are searching for Twitter handles, they never got around to adding the @ symbol to your index.

Even if we do not use this @ symbol, the result will be valid over “@WWE”. 24,900 people have +1ed or added WWE to their circles on Google+ — but 792,642 people follow WWE on Twitter. In this case, and many others, the Twitter page is a more relevant social result than the Google+ page. Twitter ranks higher than Google+ for the WWE in Yahoo, AOL and Bing results.

At the same time, Twitter and Facebook have not given any easy methods for the search engine to feature them in results. private pages of google’s crawlers access are denied by Facebook only on one reason that they are Private.”Nofolow” links option which is included by Twitter stops the Google’s crawlers from understanding where links in tweets point to.

As a result of this Search Engine Land’s Danny Sullivan has pointed out, Google has indexed at least 3 billion pages. But Twitter users create 200 million Tweets every day that would be hard to index without access to the network’s firehose — access to which Google lost with expiration of an agreement last July.

The thing is whether the result give little accesses to other social networks or by intentionally ignore ..or exactly how Google search results came to be dominated by Google+ pages .It is not an important subject here. The most valuable question is whether the domination is good for the consumers or not. If you face any trouble with privacy watchdog EPIC is effective and it could be settled by the FTC. via

Today on Thursday, Facebook has began rolling out a new feature aimed at ramping up the social experience of listening to music online. Are you one of the active 800 million individuals across the globe with Facebook account, then you will be alreday noticed that some evolutionary changes which are happening to the Social Networking site. Few days ago, the major changes is done for the new Timeline feature which offers a radical new way of viewing the history of a desired friend, which met with mixed revews from members.

The feature implemented into the Facebook is called to be “Listen With Friends” – allowing users to listen music with family all in real time. That means you can also listen to that artist songs along with any friend who is already playing it.

How that happens?

“You can listen to the same song, at the exact same time—so when your favorite vocal part comes in you can experience it together, just like when you’re jamming out at a performance or dance club,” Alexandre Roche, product designer at Facebook, wrote in a blog post Thursday.

So, when any Facebook friend is listening to a song, or a music note will appear next to their name in the chat sidebar and the real-time news ticker. By simply hovering over that friends name, then clicking the “Listem Music” button, you can listen as well with them in the same time.

The latest advancement within Facebook appears to have taken that to the next level, by letting you engage in a chat conversation with friends whilst listening to the same music at the same time. This has been dubbed the ‘Listen With’ feature, about which the company had this to say:

“Look for the music note in the chat sidebar to see which of your friends are listening to music. To listen with a friend, hover over their name, and click the Listen With button. The music will play through the service your friend is using.

When a new song plays, you’ll come along for the ride, discovering new music while your friend DJs for you.”

The Facebook’s feature will definitely add a whole new dimention to using Facebook, by effectively letting friends control their musical joy whilst chatting. Currently, Spotify and Rdio are the only two music players that support Listen With Friends. If a Facebook user attempts to listen in with a friend but does not have the compatible player, they will be prompted to install it.

So this feature is a part of Facebook chat, allows users to chat online while listening music “Listen With Friends” them upto 50 users.

It appears that the untethered jailbreak for A5 devices will surely be a team work (effort) with saurik making some major contributions yesterday. Last week Pod2g announced that the Dream team, Planetbeing, MuscleNerd, and P0sixninja joined his effort to release an iPhone 4S and iPad 2 untethered jailbreak.

Today, the iPhone Dev Team member, MuscleNerd tweeted on his Twitter account and noted that he received a major contribution from Saurik.

props to @saurik for major contributions to the A5 version of @pod2g’s untether yesterday! (still no ETA, but moving forward)

Pod2g also thanked planetbeing for his help in escaping from the sandbox.

And greetings to @planetbeing for the coding + research. Really great stuff to escape from the sandbox.

Pod2g updated and has also addressed the request that the A5 untethered jailbreak be released to developers. Previously, he revealed that there is a working jailbreak that requires a developer account.

Sorry, we can’t release the A5 for the developers, the exploit used have to be kept secret. I know this is unfair.

Are you a regular Twitter user like others using the micro blogging platform, then you have been aware of the big day over at Twitter HQ where they rolled out some major changes to their web interface and mobile applications.

The new Twitter for iPhone and Android apps were completely redesigned, and are now at version 4.0 and 3.0 respectively. The update is well recommended, and much needed one as well. The two most noticeable changes that came along with this update includes faster refresh times and revamped with a whole new UI.

With the new redesigned UI, we noticed that the way tweets are now displayed has been revamped, but, of cource, this change also means that one of the most used feature, the swiping gesture, has been removed as well as from the iPhone and Android apps. Yes, alterity tagged along the way when it was raining in the heaven.

When you move away from the native apps; both the desktop and mobile web interfaces got redesigned too. Honestly, its awesome now, and is somewhat easier to navigate than the previous version.

With a clean new web UI, and much more fsater than ever before. You’ll be missing the side-pane which earlier version used to show more details about a tweet when it was selected.

The tweet composer is now changed as dedicated button which sits on the top bar of your Twitter page. Allowing you to send tweets softly from anywhere within Twitter site. Once when you click the compose button, the compose window will pop-up, as seen in the below screenshot picture:

Currently, Twitter is said to be rolling out the new interface region wise, which probably means that many international users will have to wiat for their turn to get the fruit of the new, and so called, #NewNewTwitter web interface.

How can we get the new web UI onto your devices, simple steps to follow, no developer commands to punch in, just: install the Twitter for iPhone and Android app, sign-in and proceed! you now automatically get the new Twitter web-interface or.

You would want to check out this official YouTube video walkthrough on the new Twitter design:

Waiting for what! just give it a try right now and let us know if it worked for you or not. via

A big fan of TweetDeck as a personal browser but not so hot on Adobe AIR? check this on your calenders, today Twitter just made really happy by just killing the Adobe AIR version of the most popular Twitter app and replaced it with the native Mac and Windows versions.

TweetDeck is well-known news updater so you can be in touch with what’s now, connecting you with your contacts across Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and more.

What is TweetDeck?

TweetDeck made its name originally by being a cross-platform Twitter application that euippped with Adobe AIR’s platform. Tweet Deck that brings more flexibility and insight to power users. Adobe AIR an attempt to make it possible for developers to code one version of an application and have it run on multiple platforms, either on Mac, PC or Linux. With AIR handling everything between operating system and the app, developers needed only make single version of theor own software, saving time and money. The only issue was performance,. Sounds like Flash, yes?

Now the TweetDeck comes to right under the Twitter home, the software has drop its Air cuffs and users can now download the app from the Apple’s Mac App Store, or here if you’re a Windows user.

Some more about the TweetDeck has joined in with the Twitter announcements to present not only a web-based version of the pro-level Twitter app, but also to unveil a new, native client for Mac and Windows. Fairly, it appears to be an HTML5, web-based version of TweetDeck, packed in Webkit. Now with many better option than we already had on previous version with Adobe AIR.

TweetDeck gets update as a twitter also gives its iPhone and Android apps a huge overhaul, changing much of the user interface and functionality. The Twitter has revamped many things that power users had grown to take for granted. In a move that has very much split the Twitter community, Twitter might be risking isolating its strognest users while trying to make the barrier to entry smaller for new users.

No words still about the app from Twitter as to when their Mac version of the same name would be receiving the same overhaul that the mobile apps have received. With TweetDeck already seing an update, any possibility that Twitter will move away from Twitter for Mac and put all the weight on the TweetDeck as its official desktop application? wait and see why TweetDeck was brough for.

After all, To add a near-native client, killing off the need for Adobe Air in both Windows and Mac, is a huge move. Twitter has released a new web-based version of TweetDeck, as well.
