Now, which you are going to see are the alleged press shots of a new Android 4.0-based Samsung smartphone, which are leaked and will be launched at this years MWC later this month. new Ice Cream Sandwich powered Samsung Smartphone leaked. Details after the jump!

This news came straight from the BGR in a form of short post in which they discuss the press shot sourced from Elder Murtazin of Mobile-Review.com.

What the press shots shows? Its another Samsung Galaxy S II variant powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Unlike the Galaxy Nexus, its having and off-screen capacitive buttons and it comes along with the next version of Samsung’s popular TouchWiz UI on top.

From BGR:

Samsung has plans to announce a new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich-powered smartphone at the annual Mobile World Congress trade show in Barcelona later this month. An image of the unknown device was published on Thursday by industry insider Eldar Murtazin, though no additional details were provided.

Murtazin has stated that this device will be formally announced later this month at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

We have no name for it yet, but one thing’s for sure, this isn’t the Galaxy S III. Firstly, because the Galaxy S III can’t just be a white Galaxy S II with different buttons and, secondly, because Samsung has already confirmed that the Galaxy S III will not be announced at MWC. Instead, it will be unveiled at a separate event close to its commercial availability.

We heard yesterday that the Samsung Galaxy S II Plus rumored to come with Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread, a WVGA display and a dual core 1.5GHz processor, but now it looks like handset will come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich instead.

Waiting for the announcement is the best part, what’s more, just a few days from today you can see what Samsung to unveil, a Galaxy S III or a Galaxy S II Plus or better than that. Stay tuned, we will let you know if news about the new Samsung Galaxy S II Plus.

BlackBerry is one of the highly anticipated smartphone in the world before the Android and iPhone age. But RIM’s market share has gone down in these two years and when you see the market share in the UK, the Research In Motion claims its BalckBerry handsets were the best selling in the United Kingdom since two years. Apart from this, reports surfaced on the internet about the BBM app could be coming to the iPhone and the Android handsets. Details after the jump!

Which means that almost all of the killer applications that were running on BlackBerry only are now also available on both the iPhone and Android devices.

What do you mean by killar app on BlackBerry? That BlackBerry Messenger which was the most popular app in the past for BlackBerry. RIM specially built that app and was exclusively available for BlackBerry devices for a long time. Since then there was not even a single app that was compared to this BBM app. Samsung few months ago released ChatON a group messaging app for all the Android, iOS and other Windows Phone platforms.

Apple along with the iOS 5 firmware released the iMessage for all the iOS devices. If you are interested in setting up the iMessage on your iPhone, iPad or iPod, then follow this guides posted here and here how to use iMessage.

RIMs executives are now seriously porting BBM onto both iOS and Android mobile platforms in a desperate bid to try the user base of BlackBerry Messenger app. RIM CEO Thorsten Heins gave an interview to CrackBerry, stated regarding porting BBM to iPhone and Android and:

We’re constantly exploring our room to maneuver and our room to explore other businesses so I wouldn’t say categorically no to it,” Heins explained. “There is a time where this might make sense, and I have a team looking into this… I’m open for licensing if it makes sense.”

Currently, BBM is free and built in to all BlackBerry phones and allows users to send instant messages to each other. It’s much faster than texting, and you can tell if the recipient has read your message or not. BBM on iPhone and Android will mean that almost anyone with a smartphone will be able to communicate over RIM’s network. That’s a huge opportunity for RIM.

What do you think about Porting BBM app to Android and iOS iPhone platforms. For more details please visit this link here “BlackBerry Messenger on other Platforms? RIM CEO says “There is a time where this might make sense”.

Here’s another chance for those who are involved in tweaking, modifying or customizing the Android operating system. Think you are better aware of these recovery methods and ways, mean methods to make an attempt to use the touchscreen display of the device for navigation purposes. This is another one you haven’t done until now, which don’t exactly offers the same of touchscreen integration.

Its similar to ClockworkMod Recovery you’re used to but not touch-enabled. While all the Android devices contain recovery console, which is just a partition on the phone or tablet’s internal memory and can be manually booted into and the official ‘stock’ options are very limited and allow things like a factory reset of the device and using an official ROM to recover the OS. Some times that’s all it required, but for many other hardcore Android tinkerer, additional, more powerful options are well needed.

Joushik Dutta is the one who developed the ClockworkMod, the same developer who has recently been considering bring an alternative, Cydia-like application store to modified/rooted Android devices. ClockworkMod is widely adopted custom recovery for devices to its availability for the most Android phones and Android tablets.

In his latest release, Dutta has sent out a beta version of a modified ClockworkMod Recovery which negates the need for any of the hardware based buttons on an Android device, and allows users to navigate through the recovery options using only the touchscreen.

If you are the owner of a CDMA or GSM Galaxy Nexus, or a GSM Nexus S then you can shoot on over to the ClockworkMod Google+ page and download the necessary .img files which are being hosted there, read on to learn how to install the new recovery Mod.

While this CWM recovery is still in beta form but works quite well, so note it right now. The normal navigation method (Volume keys and power button) still working as they were, so you don’t have to use the touchscreen. The installation process to allow the use of the CWM tool on a permanent basis is a relatively simple one. simply follow these five steps tutorial below:

Step 1: Head on over to the official ClockworkMod Google+ page and download the necessary .img file for your Galaxy Nexus or Nexus S.

Step 2: To boot your device make sure to up into Flashboot mode. This can be done by powering off the device, and then powering back on whilst holding the volume up and down buttons together. (Place the downloaded file in the folder your ADB and Fastboot files are (example: C:\SDK)

Step 3: Flash ClockWorkMod (fastboot flash recovery the-name-of-your-img-file.img).

Step 4: Reboot the device into the operating system (fastboot reboot).

Step 5: Once the reboot is complete, you now have the ClockWorkMod recovery installed on a permanent basis.

For Eee Pad Transformer TF101, an unofficial, which isn’t stable (unstable) version of ICS by XDA member paulburton has surfaced now. Here’s how-to-tutorial is waiting to install and flash your device with it, Check details after this jump!

DISCLAIMER: Grab info will not be held responsible for any loss of data or damage to device experienced by following this guide. You may face problems, but proceed at your won risks.

Note: This is a custom ROM build, which has many bugs, with lack of mass storage, no GPS, and no camera functioning as well. We don’t advice installing this custom ROM and use it for daily purposes.

Ready to start, then make sure your Eee Pad TF101 is rooted and that you’ve flashed ClockworkMod Recovery. Very important requirements finally aside, to get started now.

Step 1: Download the following files:

* Android 4.0.3 ICS for Eee Pad TF01 [Direct Link]
* ICS Google Apps [MultiUpload]

Now, you’ll need to select flash icygappsv2.zip.

Step 5: From the main menu, select reboot system.

If you done the job correctly, you’ll boot into a very early alpha build of Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich on your Eee Pad TF101 perfectly.

Step 6: Finally, download and install a CPU control app like SetCPU, No-frills CPU control or Antuantu and set them to interactive governor.

Problems facing, please head over to the official thread on XDA-Developer forum.

Asus confirmed a few days back that Ice Cream Sandwich for the original Transformer tablet will arrive in mid-February 2012. No specific date has yet revealed, but the update will surely boost the Android 3.0 Honeycomb device’s speed as well as bringing the most anticipated Ice Cream Sandwich UI.

This is an Android’s early ICS port which arrived for the original Eee Pad Transformer. Via

As you all know about the Samsung’s Galaxy S range of Android-based smartphones was a big success until now. While the Galaxy S and Galaxy II (S2) have made its way to become the most popular amongst high-end devices and also became the biggest competitor to Apple iOS devices.

In our previous post we wrote that the Galaxy S III will be heading to launch at Mobile World Congress in February 2012, but today we published that the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be released in April.

The Galaxy S III will come with a HD multi-touch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, it is also rumored to feature a quad core processor and a 12 megapixel camera.

Now with MWC it had been expected that we can see some great smartphones with the show offering a great place to announce newer handsets from Koreans soon. Samsung’s own executives seem to think that the whole Samsung Galaxy S III thing is under review. That almost confirms there will be no announcement just yet.

A photo has popped up of what appears to be the Samsung UAE website, with the new handset showing in a drop-down list. The Samsung GT-I9300 as it is expected to be known, is clearly visible in a list that includes all of Samsung’s smartphones.

What do you think about Samsung’s Galaxy S III handset, will be a huge seller? Stay tuned to Grabi so that we can update some more great information on Samsung Galaxy S II or Galaxy S3 launch date, Specifications, and price details soon…..!

Google has released the source code for its highly anticipated Ice Cream Sandwich some two months back, several developers have been restlessly experimenting in order to bring a range of Custom ROMs for those running certain Android devices.

CyanogenMod based custom ROM is called MIUI, and is one of the most popular custom builds to its awesome and distinct interface. Additional features such as better notification menu, enhanced Camera, Gallary and Music Apps as well.

We already shown you how to install MIUI on your HP TouchPad tablet, with the help of XDA-Developers, and however you can now install it on your Samsung Galaxy S II (S2). It’s well customized build, which will not disturb any basic functions in order to experience it, usually we are not too keen to advise you to test these custom ROMs on your primary device, because they are often full of bugs and unstable. This particular ROM is at version 2.1, so many of the usual caveats found in early alpha releases have been resolved.

If you already installed CyanogenMod on your Galaxy S II before, then you’ll need to boot into ClockworkMod Recovery, wipe /data and /cache partitions, before installing the downloaded .zip file from install zip from sdcard menu: similar work done in our previous tutorial: how to install CyanogenMd 7 (Alpha 3).

This the first time installing CyanogenMod, don’t panic, since installing MIUI on Galaxy S II isn’t that much difficult, You can check this guide how to install CyanogenMod (Alpha 11) for information on how you can install it with an ease.

Disclaimer: Grabi.org will not be held responsible for any damages you might do to your Samsung Galaxy S II by following the below tutorial. Flashing a custom ROM is generally a difficult job, although you should not have any issues with this build, yet please continue at your own risk!

Get started now, but Before you begin, make sure you’ve the following files at the ready:

* charge your Samsung Galaxy S II to 100%
* flash/install ClockworkMod Recovery (CWM) on your Android device. If you haven’t done this already, this would be a good time.

Step 1: Download the AdyScorpiusMIUIv2.1-ICS-i9100-2.1.20.zip via this link. The file is over 100MB, so may take a few moments for those on slower connections.

Step 2: Once the download is complete, copy the .zip file to /sdcard.

Step 3: Boot your Galaxy SII into Recovery Mode.

Step 4: Select Wipe Data/Factory Reset, and then go to Mounts and Storage and select Wipe System.

Step 5: Install zip from sdcard – Version 2.1.

Step 6: Wipe Data/Factory Reset once more.

Step 7: Reboot your device, and you should be good to go.

If you’ve followed the tutorial step by step, your device shroud boot into Android 4.0.3 ICS MIUI Custom ROM. In case of any issues, please check the official XDA thread.

With a simple tweaking and using right tools, we can achieve that success. The final result is a desktop that looks sharp and defenitely has lot in common with the mobile OS that inspired it.

The Ice Cream Sandwich desktop wallpaper, downloaded from WallBase.

A theme for Windows 7 known as APPOWS2010, which is available from DeviantArt.

A blank theme enabled RocketDock which creates the left hand positioned dock.

The ICS icon pack, available from DroidPirate.

RainMeter, which is a system monitor and configuration tool.

The Minimal Bar skin which is used to display the time and date.

The Lexis skin, used to display time and date.

SimpleSentenceThree for RainMeter which gives the currently playing music in the bottom corner.

The Google search bar for RainMeter.

The Roboto Font, preferably the Roboto Light.

By using these tweaks and elements, you can tweak the desktop to only include the components you like – you can build your own Ice Cream Sandwidh desktop with just the wallpaper, RocketDock, and the icon pack, and leave the rest off if you so choose. If you have any difficulty putting all of these components together, you could always pop over to David Molina on Flickr and ask about his process.

Today YouTube had just made some work done with the user interface of their video website. YouTube had now decided to keep users cool and rolled out some more updates.

The news comes straight from the YouTube development team – the official blog post says that they’ve upgraded the Browser page in order to give “a fresh look-and-feel” which will surely guide your browsing experience to discover even more Channels on YouTube. The video site have also created content categories in order to simplify the video browsing experience of each and every topic listed in the left browsing menu bar.

If you ready to click on the Entertainment tab in the left menu, you’ll now find sub-categories related to the most viewed today, popular around the Web and also some selected Channels which are related to Entertainment content. Likewise, you can click on your favorite tabs like Technology, Apple, Android, Windows, Mac, Nokia, How To Guides and so on and on….!

If you are one of those uploading videos, YouTube’s pushed an update to Video editor. This update is mostly visual as they’ve stream-lined the look to match the rest of YouTube’s recently updated aesthetic, but they also added a new timeline feature and made the clip-trimming tool a little easier to use.

YouTube has updated the Video Manager as well, which would be the third upgrade to its site. Similar to Video editor, Video Manager has been given more gestures in order to match the rest of YouTube’s layout. Beyond that change, users will now see a “search history” tool and “an improved display of scheduled uploads and claimed videos.”

Additionally, as a response to the feedback from YouTube users, the statistics for likes and dislikes have returned. But don’t expect to see it right now, though, according to the post, this new stats feature will be re-introduced into the wild over the next couple of days from now.

This is it, now the video site YouTube gets updated to the new level with Browsing pages, Video Managers and Video editor, and in few days with todays stats and many more.

Samsung would be ready to announce their highly anticipated smartphone called to be Samsung Galaxy S III at this years World Mobile Congress. Samsung reportedly to unveil Galaxy S III as a new 3D device in the second qaurter of 2012. The successor to its popular Galaxy S II Android smartphone, at WMC in February, Samsung is set to launch a new 3D-capable devices in the first quarter of 2012, which were the rumors surfaced on the web in December last year.

The Samsung Galaxy S III will be revealed at WMC 2012 next month, and according to Eldar Murzain the device will go on sale in April of this year. He also said that he had got his hands on the new Samsung Galaxy S III that device is reported to feature a 12-megapixel Camera, simlar news followed up by the previous rumors.

Regarding to the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S III, new reports surfaced which are very excited, powered 1.5GHz quad-core processor and a 12MP camera with HD recording. The image below was a “leaked” press image that ended up being fake and only a concept image but the chances the SGSIII looks similar to that are quite possible.

Other rumored specifications on the Samsung Galaxy S III include a HD multi-touch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, we were expecting the device to feature Samsung’s new dual core 2GHz Exynos 5250 processor and 2GB of RAM, although Murtzain has said that it will come with a quad core 1.5GHz or 1.6GHz processor, according to PhoneArena.

The latest SGSIII was rumored to have integrated with an 2.0 HGz quad-core processing and a 64GB internal memory storage. We are looking forward to see what Samsung is readying for the World Mobile Congress. While rumors are rumors, they will blow your mind but when the final version launches then its nothing to be real.

Korean electronics giant Samsung has done increadibly well with its Galaxy range of smartphones, the most popular would be Samsung Galaxy S2 became the best compititor to Apple iOS devices, still the best.

The biggest part of this post, however is the release date, read what @eldarmurtazin had to say:

“HD resolution, 12 mpx camera, sw tweaks, android 4 – i like my new phone. Eager to see official announcement in Barcelona.”

Other comments suggest a Mobile World Congress unveiling in late February (We’ll be there live) and that the Galaxy S III will be launching in mid April, the same day the Galaxy S II was launched (not in US).

Here comes some amazing news, Google along with MIT to release the code for the Google App Inventor, which is an application provided by Google that allowed anybody to start software applications for the Android operating system (OS). It used a graphical interface, very similar to Scratch and the StarLogo TNG user interface, that allowed users to drag-and-drop visual objects to construct an application that can run on the Android system, which runs on number of mobile devices.

In creating App Inventor for Android, Google drew upon significant prior research in educational computing, and work done within Google on online development environments.

Even now, Are you fervently waiting for an app for Android? Google and MIT is going to redemptive the open source code for the Google App Inventor. This will be an affluent path to resolve it.

The Google App originator supports you to conceive apps with comparative Absence of difficulty or effort. A three-month project which is going to launch with a modified description of the App Inventor will be enough for the Google and MIT. They are looking forward for this project.

MIT’s vision is that people should be able to experience mobile technology as creators, not just as a consumer. For focusing that they activated an App Inventor, a Web-based program development tool that even beginners with no prior programming experience can use to create mobile applications. This programmer that will help you create custom apps for your Android devices.

Picnik is an online photo editing app for your browser. It gives real people photo editing superpowers. It’s fast, easy, and offers tons of powerful tools, artistic effects, stickers, frames, touch-ups, scrap booking tools and more. Picnik launched in September 2007 and in the past few years has amassed millions of happy fans on the site, through Facebook, embedded in Flickr, Picasa, Yahoo! Mail, and dozens other API partners. In 2010 March, Picinik has announced that they are happy to join the Google family of consumr apps. After moving in to the Google offices in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle they got improvements and still working hard to build the easist, most fun and awesome online photo editor out there.

After few months the photo Web app Picinik is going to close their shop. This was purchased by Google. The pronouncement by Google to wind up Picnik stretched as an
amazement given that they were very positive after buying the company in March 2011. However the time shifted a Creative Kit which is comparable to Picinik in terms of effect has been provided by Google+. Google decided it was time to bid goodbye to the web app.

A superb interface and thoughtful touches make photo editing fun.Picnik is moving its easy yet powerful photo editing tools to Google+. But Picnik doesn’t end until our last day of April 19, 2012.

Annual membership total fee will be refunded to all the subscribers. Not only the Picinik is lone web up preserved with Google Message Continuity but also Google Sky Map, Needlebase, Social Graph API and Urchin also being taken out. Picinik’s team appear to take the ejection of the app pretty well, as they even went on to recommend the Creative Kit of Google+. Despite this, it’s still regrettable that a polished web app such as Picnik was bought and then deflated in less than a year. Now users are compelled to look for an alternative or just slip into Google’s Creative Kit. via

What’s this! Now Apple once again targeting the Google’s Samsung Galaxy Nexus design and its slide-to-unlock style. Samsung has released yet another ad mocking the iPhone owners entitled, “Samsunged”. The ad touts the Samsung Galaxy S II over the iPhone due to its included navigation software. It also mocks Apple customers for waiting in line to purchase a phone with the exact same design as its predecessor.

Its time for Apple, who complains that the unlock gesture on the Galaxy Nexus is in voilation of its iconic ‘Slide To Unlock’ patent. In Germany court, Apple says that Samsung had copied its slide-to-unlock feature and implemented on the Google’s Android-based Galaxy Nexus. Apple has filed a lawsuit against Samsung alleging that the Galaxy Nexus infringes on an intellectual property right known as a utility firm, which FOSS Patents describes as a “fast-track patent that comes with various limitations,” that has to do with iOS’s well-known slide-to-unlock feature.

From the AllthingsD:

Apple has decided to assert its slide-to-unlock patent against Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus. This is the first time Apple has fingered the Nexus as an infringing device, and its decision to do so appears to be a significant escalation of the company’s campaign against Android. Not only is the Galaxy Nexus one of Samsung’s hero smartphones, it’s also Google’s Android 4.0 reference device.

In fact, it’s the only smartphone shipping with Android 4.0 right now. In other words, it’s the latest “pure Google” phone. Which is noteworthy.

For the second time also Google is working as the best company in US. Since 2007 the search monster defeat more than 99 companies in the list and moved up from the 4th position in the same poll before one year. Really it is an awesome perquisite. Apparently it changed in to an endless benefit for the users. All most all the users and employees are satisfied with the culture around the Google. The Mountain View headquarters contains a bowling alley, boccie courts and around 25 cafes company wide – all free of course. One Google staffer pointed out that employees are never more than 150 feet away from a well-stocked pantry.

“Employees rave about their mission, the culture, and the famous perks of the Pl ex: boccie courts, a bowling alley, eyebrow shaping (for a fee) in the New York office,” Fortune wrote.

As per the report of Mercury News, Google’s workspace victory can be air quality.(credited to the degree to which the ambient air is pollution-free.) Google co-founders are said to have Very excruciating sense of smell and sensitivity to toxins that is why they have wrought an ambiance with air quality that matches a hospital rather than a traditional office building.

Surprisingly the report from Fortune are genuine always. Not like the news which is reported last month from Glass door where Google was ranked as the fifth best place to work.Face book and Apple also gains a very good position in the perk. Amusingly no other company like App l or Face book were not included in the top 100 list of Fortune.

Google would make even the Gunnies hold its breath! Untill today 250 million Android devices activated in the world! Not only that, there are 11 billion Apps downloaded! Unbeleavebly true.

Google’s CEO Larry Page today reavealed these mind blowing figures at the time of announcement of companie’s forth quarter earnings. The Google’s revenue in the last quarter is also not less than $10 billion!

Not only the above figures, see here more. Few weeks ago Google announced that it is activating 700,000 Android devices per a day, and this number includes the devices those have built-in cellular and mobile broadband support. The figure will be more and more high if they add the Wi-Fi only models, like Google TV and Wi-Fi only tablets which were not included in this list.

Only a month after the Google revealed that it crossed the 10 billion apps downloaded line, now this statement released that, for the Android market it jumped to 11 billion applications downloaded mark. Only at the time of this Christmas, 3.7 million Android devices were activated! what a rise!

While the competators like Motorola saying that they will come with only few devices in 2012, the Google is trying to unveil a bunch of devices at the time of the Mobile World Congress and in entire 2012. As on today Google activated Android devices more than 250 million in count, and those users have downloaded 11 billion applications from its market. It seems that these figures are only for a short period and would be overwriten when Google announces it’s 1st quarter results. With all the new launches surely Google will keep its figures on the top of the mountain.wait and see!

Hulu, is the popular video streaming site, which is having something of revelation. Paired with e-film guru Netflix, people can enjoy continue video content catering for prettier than all of your entertainment needs. The application will provide users with the possibility to access the Hulu Plus service from any Android device, its modder suggests.

A subscription will still be required to benefit from the features available through the service.

One of the highly appealing applications that owners of Android-based devices out there can enjoy at the moment is Hulu Plus. However, the software is not available for all users, and enthusiasts considered it was high time they did something about that. Those who would like to learn more on this app should head over to the XDA-Developers forums. Just keep in mind that this is unofficial software and that you will be the only one held responsible if something goes wrong when using it.

Unlucky, some Android devices cannot access Hulu, which has been taken potentially huge bite from your high quality video roster. We can expect that Hulu will remains at the forefront of the streaming content movement set to take the whole world by storm for the coming years. Apple and Microsoft are going to launch to do something with their iTV and Kine ct HD devices.

XDA-Developers always recons on to provide advanced mods and tweaks- especially for the smart phone users which is having more influence of Android. One of the junior member Blunttedsmurf has posted an altered HULU APK put in to any Android device which allows Hulu content to be perfectly spurted through. Surprisingly, it does not necessitate root access, so those valuable warranty deals can also open their droids to many thousands of episodes in on-demand television.

Good, Even though it is lacerated application and no need to pay any amount, it do not give accomplished access to the no-holds-barred Plus service. As blunttedsmurf puts it:

“It does not, I repeat does not require root!! YAY!!! No it does not give you free access to Hulu plus, you still have to get a paid subscription to view the paid content. But if you don’t have paid subscription, you can still view the free gallery.”

That is why, still you need to have a subscription package for all-access use, but Hulu is giving you a very good quality entertainment, definitely Android users has to check it out.

Decided? No! then, Check this video demonstration below, compiled by blunttedsmurf:

Here’s the download link for the modified APK [Download]

Important: if you ausing a Motorola Xoom LTE, a Logitech Revue or any other landscape-only device, will be needed to download a revised version of this hack which caters fir said devices [Download]

Note: Since its an APK file apart from the Android Market, therefore you need to enable Unknown sources to enable sideloading of apps. In order to do so, from your homescreen, tap the Menu button then head over to Settings > Applications and check the Unknown sources dialogue box. via

Apple has always tried to amaze people with “magical and revolutionary” devices that are “insanely great”. Magical is just intuitive programming but they have changed (“revolutionized”) product categories before. The iPhone and iPod touch are great examples. According to Steve Jobs the Apple iPad is another chapter in their magical revolutionary book. The Apple iPad many Award for its internet browsing, email, videos, music and eBooks. There was also a big emphasis on apps for productivity, games and others that are related to software for computers.

Apple says that, at the end of the business producing of Apple’s iPad range, Many of the individuals, those who have deep examination in the specific area are asking number of questions? whether rivals can launch a serious challenge to the undisputed king of the tablet market?

The fruit company which is credited with establishing back in March 2010 when the unique i Pad hit stores worldwide. For although portable internet/music/video players are sufficient from the likes of Archos, they not ever mastered to make much of blending amongst consumers those who did not know the use of deemed Novelty product.

In the consumer electronics industry big players tried their role for the last two years but they failed in the first iPad. After their trial it came to know that with various attempts at an “i Pad Killer”, all most all them are cheaper and more adaptable than the closed-source iOS. The most popular Galaxy Tab from Samsung or RIM’s Black Berry Playbook have followed akin/ comparable form of factor, which is having nearly 40+ million selling device from the Cupertino company.

Now it is the time to think how can the competitors change their approach in coming new year to make the consumrs to know about them and they have to apply new methods to win their formula to counterfeit.

The life of the battery is on of the major problem facing by consumers with their treasured gadgets. Features of the tablet are more important for the regular usage.

It is not a matter how will be the device, users are not looking for the beauty of the device just they want and only looking for the battery life and how the device is running. If they want to outshine with fruit company they should step their battery up just like Sam sung and Motorola.

Ideally apple finished its design With a smooth metal. A shiny plastic-encased unit shows a cheap and poor quality. so designers should have an eye on apple’s book and just try to create a nice looking device. If anybody is looking for an i Pad killer unequivocally they should look the part and feel like, for lack of better phrase, a decent bit of kit.

Basically due to Apple’s mobile operating system i OS and customer satisfaction rates are exalted across the entire i Device range. Over a half million apps are on hand at the App Store. Still the scarcity is 100,000+ even though the Android market is having a sufficient Good Will. When we use an i OS, everything will be smooth and will give the right experience. So that we can say it is a complete device and the i Pad would be just another device as opposed to the holy grail.

Are you thinking that the Google software can hold the tablet makers back, and manufacturers fighting a losing battle? If the competitor want to stand right he has to introduce something new which will feel an exclamation. Till today there is no alternative to competative with this device.

So, what’s in the pipeline? Well there’s been predominant conjecture of Google’s supposed ‘Nexus’ tablet, which is rumored to be a scaled-down 7 inch offering priced low in order to compete with the Kindle Fire. The manufacturer can expect an adequate amount of sales because of its lowest benchmark. In fact we cannot rate them. Apple will be in their place always.

Before a real assault can be launched to test Apple’s dominance, we might have to wait for the next iteration of Android. Jellybean is the next course in the tooth-rotting Android line-up, and although there hasn’t been much in terms of official spoken-word, there are plenty of currently-lacking features which could dramatically improve on Ice Cream Sandwich. via

Here comes in the right time, get CyanogenMod onto your TouchPad tablet. CM9 is an after market custom firmware for Android, opening doors for HP TouchPad with a bunch of useful features which aren’t available in untouched stock firmware including FLAC playback, theming, and incognito web browsing.

The first build of Google’s Android 4.0 ICS is now available for the HP TouchPad, which is an WebOS software running tablet, since its dropped the price, hackers have been installing Google Android on the HP TouchPad for months.

Until now, Android 2.3.x Gingerbread was only available for the HP tablet, today the CyanogenMod team has released CyanogenMod 9 Alpha 0 for the TouchPad. Android-based 4.0 OS includes Google’s new user interface which is well optimized for tablets without physical buttons. Well fitted for the HP TouchPad’s, which doesn’t have the home, back, and menu buttons found on most earlier Android phones and tablets.

While CyanogenMod 7 supporting tablet tweaks, with the Android 2.3 Gingerbread-based ROM isn’t exactly adept largerand higher-resolution screens seen on tablets. There are several other hackers and developers who were waiting for Android 4.x Ice Cream Sandwich features to be ported through for better compatibility.

Finally, the CyanogenMod 9 arrived as an Alpha 0 still pretty rough around the edges – the camera doesn’t work, and it never work in future though. There’s no other hardware video accleration, which means that Netflix won’t be working, and HD YouTube video won’t play at all. While the microphone doesn’t work and audio is glitchy.

Especially the Titanium Backup doesn’t work, which may fail various apps to show up in the Andoid Market. Actually, we already know about this, because CyanogenMod team has uploaded a video on YouTube showing Android 4.0 ICS running on HP TouchPad a few days back.

While installing Android 4.0, TouchPad rebooted several times unexpectedly. Don’t be scared, here’s how you can install CM9 on HP TouchPad.

Step 1: Install the Palm Novacom driver – the easiest is to use the Universal Novacom Installer. Simply download the .jar file from Google code, and Run.

Follow the instructions and it should now install Novacom on your computer. It will only work if Java is already installed. After done, you can check the above picture shows that Universalk Novacom installer created a folder called c:\Program Files\Palm, Inc.

Step 2: In this step, you will need to download the required files:

Moboot

Alpha0 CM9 for TouchPad

Step 3: Now drag ACMEInstaller into the same directory where your Novacom files are.

“Novacom is in your c:\Program Files\Palm, Inc directory, just copy ACMEInstaller2 to that directory.”

Step 4: Connect your HP TouchPad to your computer and enable USB mass storage mode by tapping the USB notification in the upper top right-hand corner of the screen.

Follow this: Use a USB cable that came along with your Tablet to connect to a PC, Mac or Linux. You should see a USB notification in the upper-right cornor of TouchPad. Simply Tap on it to enter USB drive mode.

Step 5: Now you’ll need to copy the remaining downloaded files to your TouchPad. Open your TouchPad using an explorer utility, and create a new folder called “cminstall”.

Now press and hold the volume button and nce the screen goes dark, quickly hold the volume up button after which you’ll be met with a large USB icon on your TouchPad’s screen.

Step 7: Open a command prompt (Start > search “cmd”). Then type cd: \ which will take you to your root directory. Type “dir” in order to unveil the full list of directories. See below:

After your computer installs the drivers, it’s time to get ready to run ACMEInstaller. Here’s how you do that on a Windows computer:

1. Click the Start Menu.
2. Type “cmd” (without quotes) in the search box.
3. This will open a command prompt.
4. Type cd: \ to enter your root directory.
5. Navigate to the correct directory. Typing “dir” (without quotes) will show a list of directories.
6. On my computer, I next typed “cd Program Files” and hit enter, then “cd Palm, Inc” and hit enter again.

Step 8: Now you’re going to run ACMEInstaller. Enter “novacom.exe boot mem:// < ACMEInstaller2″ into the command prompt (See Step 7 for reference). You will begin to notice lines of text running across the screen of your device. Let the process run its course, after which you’ll need to boot into Moboot. You can opt to boot into CyanogenMod by tapping on the home button, or otherwise you can reboot to webOS by using the up and down volume arrows to navigate to the webOS option and then tapping home.

Note: Some users have reported that ACMEInstaller2 doesn’t automatically install gApps, but you can use ClockworkMod to install the gApps zip following the steps outlined below for applying the charging fix. Just substitute the gApps zip file for the update-chargerFix file.

Step 9: Install update-chargerFix [Optional]

You can download the update-chargerFix-alpha0.zip file from goo-inside.me or Techerrata. Then follow these steps to install it:

1. Place the zip file in the root directory of your TouchPad’s storage (or in a folder that you can remember).
2. Press-and-hold the power button to reboot the touchPad.
3. From the Moboot menu, choose ClockworkMod.
4. Use the volume keys to scroll down to the entry that says “install a zip from SDcard” and tap the home button to select.
5. Using the volume and home keys, highlight the update-chargerFix file and select it.
6. Scroll down to select yes.
7. When it’s done installing reboot into CyanogenMod.

Here’s that, you’re good to go. Since it provides the simplest tools for backing up and restoring your system, wiping data, or applying OS updates.
