SwiftKey is a third-party QWERTY keyboard that has received yet another hefty update today. The new version should already be available in the Google Play Store. SwiftKey for Android uses a blend of artificial intelligence technologies that enables it to predict the next word the user intends to type. Now with support for more Indian languages, the keyboard appears on screen between 15 percent and 20% faster with the new version.
Its main agenda to fame is the all-round improved performance and the time its takes for the keyboard to appear has been reduced, and the same can be said for the keyboard quite time too. Switching between fields has now became faster, and typing is said to be more responsive as well. For instance, the keyboard disappears 20-30% more faster so that user have less waiting time after typing finished and after sending SMS text message, the keyboard automatically refreshes within 15-20 percent faster.
Speed boost performance on SwiftKey has now been improved, so from now, Android or iOS users will have a smoother experience when typing very fast, though even more enhancements are promised for the future SwiftKey update. It also allows users to toggle between multiple languages simultaneously.
Finally, the new SwiftKey has got support for 12 additional languages: Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Nepali, and Sinhala. With this new update, SwiftKey now supports a total of 15 Indian languages. And this brings the total number of supported languages to 81 globally.
