Sony has officially took the wraps off the Xperia Z3v for Verizon Wireless in the United States, which is the company’s newly launched Xperia Z3. It comes with a 5.2-inch 1080p Triluminos with Live Color LED and X-Reality for mobile.
Notably, the Xperia Z3v is the same unit as the one found in the Z3, include Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC with 2.5GHz quad-core CPU, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of built-in memory and it’s highly capable 20.7MP camera with 4K video capture, 3,200mAh battery, stereo speakers, and Android 4.4.4 KitKat are also on board.
The Xperia Z3v supports PlayStation 4 Remote Play via Wi-Fi, which can also pair with a PS4 wireless controller as well. Verizon and Sony are going to launch a number of accessories for the Xperia Z3v, which bundled with a Sony Smartwatch 3 for $249.99, CPW5 wireless charger with built-in battery at $59.99, and a PS4 wireless controller with GCM10 mount for $59.99 and $39.99 respectively.
As its name suggests, the newcomer packs the same display and internals as the Sony Xperia Z3. Further, Verizon and Sony have collaborated to add Qi wireless charging capability into the device.
The IP68 certified high-end Xperia Z3v Android smartphone will hit the carrier’s shelves later this month, on October 23. Available to buy for $199.99 with a two-year contract.
