Have you ever experienced spoiling your handset by spilling water, coffee, soda or any other liquid? If anyone agrees, here is a good news for them. At CES 2012 Sony unveiled an Android phone Xperia S and now revealed two new features before its launch. While we thought that we knew all about Xperia S, surprisingly Sony put these two new features on its Facebook page.

The Sony’s Xperia S, which is a GSM 3G/HSPA phone that will be sold internationally will come with an anti-stain shell. That means you can’t damage the device by pouring any liquid on it! It will be completely liquid proof! This anti-stain shell is a nice feature to have on your handset and mostly it will be similar to the coating that Motorola put on the Droid RAZR.

The second feature that Sony released is the battery charging capability. According to the Sony’s Facebook announcement, the Xperia S will have fast charging capabilities. It will cut the charging time in to half and with only ten minutes charging it gives one hour of use time.

As Sony released these two new features before the launch of Xperia S, let us inform you that the Sony’s Xperia S has already cleared the FCC and heading for both the carriers AT&T and T-Mobile. It seems that it will come unlocked and there is not any official announcement about the handsets launch in US.

So, wait for some more days to enjoy these two new features on Xperia S. Via
