Sony is rumored to launch its highly-anticipated Xperia Z2 successor alongside its compact version smartphones, the Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact handsets at the pre-IFA 2014 press conference on September 3, which is purely based on a media report.
As per the XperiaBlog claims that it have received confirmation of the dates of Sony’s pre-IFA 2014 event, expected to be held two days ahed of the IFA 2014 trade-show in Berlin. Starts on September 5, and the IFA 14 ends of Sep 10, 2014.
Sony will also announce some “new wearables such as the SmartWatch 3 and the latest iteration of lens-style cameras,” according to the reports and also suggests that Sony will unveil the much-anticipated Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact smartphones.

He also claimed that the next Sony flagship, suggested to be called the Xperia Z3, will come with a model number D6653. While the Xperia Z2 comes with D6502, D6503, and D6543 for various 3G and 4G models.
The yet-to-be-announced Xperia Z3 features a 5.5-inch full-HD display; a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.4GHz; 3GB of RAM; 16GB of inbuilt storage; a 20.7-megapixel rear camera; a 2.1-megapixel front camera, and Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
The Xperia Z3 Compact was previously tipped to come with a model number D580x, which it include a 4.5-inch 720×1280 pixel display, a quad-core 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AC processor, an Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The smartphone supposedly features a 20.7-megapixel rear camera, and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera.
