Apple has finally rolling out the most wanted firmware update for 2013 MacBook Pro notebook, released a new EFI update for its newly launched 13-inch Retina MacBook Pros. The update is designed to fix issues that caused the built-in keyboard and trackpad to freeze up and stop functioning. Not only for 13″, but Apple has also released a new software update for the 15-inch MacBook Pro 2013 edition, which is expected to fix a number of issues raised by people who owned one of the MacBook Pro notebooks. Users first began noticing issues that caused the keyboard and the trackpad of the 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro to freeze up shortly after the computer was released on October 22nd, 2013.
Highlighted by multiple sources about this issues and prompted Apple to notify users last week that it was working on a fix. It was not clear whether the keyboard or trackpad unresponsiveness was due to the hardware or software poroblem, then after it appears to be a software-based one and repairable with this new EFI update.
