Siri Can to Start, Stop, Lock and Unlock Your Cars (Video)

Here’s the way you can control your iPad apps using Apple’s Siri. Looks like Siri’s capabilities are endless. Just few days back we had talked about the developer @plamoni who created a proxy server which can be publicly used to control non-Apple devices, who also managed to control a Wi-Fi capable home heating system (thermosta) using custom Siri Commands.
Today, the iPhone 4S, hacking Siri has already become something of a spectator sport in the next level with an interesting discovery made by a hacker known as Brandon in which he hocked up Siri to his viper car remote allowing to use voice commands to start, stop, lock and unlock his car.
Brandon explained how everything works with Siri:
The “Siri Proxy” plugin I wrote handles interaction with a php script that runs on my web server. The php script, which I developed months ago for personal use, allows me to send commands to my car which has a Viper SmartStart module installed.
Current commands accepted are: “Vehicle Arm”, “Vehicle Disarm”, “Vehicle Start”, “Vehicle Stop”, “Vehicle Pop Trunk”, and “Vehicle Panic”.
Well! these are very interesting and mind blowing jobs done by developers as well as hackers, but waht we know would be much greater is hearing that Siri was ported to older iOS devices in a way that can be made public soon.
