Massimo Marchiori, a professor at the University of Padua, Italy today unveiled an experimental version of a search engine that allows users to connect with others interested in the same subjects.

The search engine “Volunia”, caters to 12 different languages, has a new thought of search engine of the future according to the professor. Marchiori who has authored several Web standards and was the first to introduce the concept of hyper-information in search engines, a concept later developed by companies such as Google Inc.
