The South Korean giant Samsung have reportedly slashed the price of its flagship smartphones in India, the Galaxy S5 as well as the LET-variant have received a major cut. How much the both handsets cost now? Check it after this fold!
The Samsung Galaxy S5 now available at Rs. 43,250 on the company’s official online India store, which means it gets a price cut of Rs. 8,250 when compared with Rs. 51,500 launched earlier.
The Samsung Galaxy S5-LTE after price drop of around Rs. 8,150 from its launch price of Rs. 53,448, now available at Rs. 45,290.
Note: currently, we have got now idea whether the massive price cuts of the major Galaxy S5 smartphones is part of a limited period offering or a permanent one. Few weeks ago, Samsung also offered the Galaxy K Zoom price drop for a limited time.
In April, Samsung’s Galaxy S5 went on sale in India via Samsung India online store and physical retail stores, and followed by the Galaxy S5-LTE variant in July.
Although after getting a price cut, both the Galaxy smartphones are not cheaper enough, but it’s likely that the South Korean company is preparing the ground for the launch of its latest phablet, the Galaxy Note 4 – unveiled at IFA. Priced at EUR 699 (roughly Rs. 54,500) including taxes in Germany.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is for EUR 699. It includes taxes,” a Samsung sales representative told PTI at company’s branded outlet in Berlin’s prominent shopping mall KaDeWe.
The Galaxy Note 4 at EUR 699 appears to be the most expensive gadget from Samsung’s shelf when it launches in India. The new Galaxy Note series alongside the Galaxy Note 4 Edge with curved display are expected to be available globally in October and is to be launched in a phased manner.
