Now it looks like Samsung is all set to launch the earlier tipped ‘selfie-focused’ smartphone, the Galaxy Grand Prime (SM-G530H) in India. Although, this smartphone is not officially announced as yet, but now, according to Manish Khatri from Mahesh Telecom report, the smart phone will be available in 2 days at Rs. 15,250 against the actual MRP INR 16,000.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime suggested to be a sporting a front-facing camera with a 5MP selfie sensor on-board and supports 14 Indian languages as well. The selfie-focused device comes with 5-megapixel (wide-angle lens) front facing camera instead of the megapixel and 2MP offerings on Grand 2 and Grand.
The Galaxy Grand Prime is a dual-SIM smartphone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and features a 5-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) TFT display. Specifications other than that, also packs a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM, including an 8GB internal storage which can in further expandable up to 64GB via microSD card and backed up by a 2600mAh battery.
On Saturday, Samsung Galaxy Alpha with metal frame launched in India at Rs. 39,990, which measures 132.4×65.5×6.7mm and weighs 115 grams. Runs the latest Android 4.4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It features a 4.7-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) Super AMOLED display. Powered by an octa-core chipset, with 2GB of RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage, which is non-expandable. Sports a 12-megapixel rear camera and also includes 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera. It packs an 1860mAh battery.
