Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 (Krait) To Appear In Consumer Devices At MWC 2012

At the upcoming mobile world congress the dual core snapdragon S4 chip that wowed us will be shown in consumer devices.AS per mr. Raj Talluri Qualcomm’s VP of product management Gigaom the MSM8960 chip will be debuted in multiple phones next week in Barcelona. The reason for poor battery life has been emphasized that the chips integrated LTE processor in the current phones have a separate LTE processor.
Qualcomms system-on-chip integrates LTE into a dieing situation which allows it’s share resources and potential’s alleviate the battery drain issues. At the next MWC we are hoping of geting some devices in our hand and put them to test.Last year Nvidia noted that it’s working on the chip with integrated LTE.IT has been noted by Talluri that the company will not show off any quad core consumer products at MWC.
It has also been rumored by the RIM holding off the first 10 Blackberry devices until it gets access to a dual core chip with integrated LTE. The company is expected in showing off the BB10 operating systems provided by texas istruments or Qualcomm at MWC. The Blackberry london will be powered by MSM8960.
