Millions of Facebook fans including me have complained about the output of their Facebook Timeline, but no worry, here’s an application that can make you free from those issues. Here’s PinView, a new Facebook app, displays items from your News Feed, Timeline, friends list and pages as small panels, just like Pinterest. Details after this jump!

Brand new PinView Facebook app displays items from your Timeline, multimedia pages as small panels, similar to a social bookmarking site Pinterest showcases images on Pinboards. The spiffy app launched on Thursday as a free to use and opens the users News Feed in grid format, buttons on the top then allow them to view Timeline, friends’ profile photos, photos or videos. With the wish word says, “Browse Facebook like you browse Pinterest.”

Co-developer Thomas Petersen says about this app to Mashable:

“We are also planning to allow you to sort them based on popularity and other non-realtime properties.”

Once you download the app, PinView opens up your News Feed in grid format. Buttons on the top right allow you to just view stuff from your Timeline, friends’ profile photos, photos or videos.

In the past, sites across the web had already used the grid-format display, but Pinterest has found major success presenting the layout design to the masses. Petersen goes on to admit that Pinterest is the best use of the grid format he’s seen to date:

“It’s popular because it allow you to quickly scan lots of pictures; that is the strength of this format. It’s not something Pinterest invented, but they found the proper use for it.

What are you waiting for, go, give PinView a try and let us know what you think?
