How To Backup and Cydia tweaks, apps and settings using OpenBackup

Step 1 : This application is easy to use, since it launch icon on the Springboard.
Step 2 : Now click on the “Backup” button and let it work.
Step 3 : You iDevice running iOS 5x and the iCloud option is enabled on your iOS device, the backup will also iCloud your storage space, well the apps icon will be hidden (invisible) in the menu settings icloud.

This app backs up and restores your free Cydia packages and most of their preferences. To manage your paid packages, select the “Manage Account” section from Cydia’s home page. Instructions for use of this tool are located in the app. As with all iCloud supported apps, files are not uploaded immediately. Settings for iCloud backups are in the default Settings app. “OpenBackup” will not display in your iCloud settings, but it will be used by iCloud. Help develop OpenBackup: As always, send bug reports regarding the functionality of this app (not the installation) by pressing the “Author” link at the top of this page. An error log is made at /tmp/openbackup.log on your device. Please send the contents of this file as well. OpenBackup’s source-code is located in ‘/Applications/OpenBackup.app/Source Code’ and is compatible with Theos. X-Code compatibility is unknown. The Unix scripts used by this app are /usr/bin/backup and backupinstall.
Tweaking and making adjustments to your applications and the icons arrangement on the Sprinboard or sources Cydia repository are saved, so that you can anytime restore a backup of your Cydia tweaks.
Important : Make a note that this app doesn’t back up the debian packages at all. Only saves your list of tweaks/ apps Cydia to install them again if you want to.
