One Lakh Xiaomi Redmi 1S Units Goes On Sale Via Flipkart On Tuesday

I got my Redmi 1S with all required accessories a few days ago through Flipkart, exclusively on the #BillionDaySale, and Xiaomi has confirmed that the sixth flash sale of the entry-level MIUI smartphone will see 1,00,000 Redmi 1S units available to buy on October 14.

IMG_0862Kicks off at 2pm IST on Flipkart for registered users. Interestingly, this will be the first and foremost flash sale that will see up to one lakh Redmi 1s smartphones go on sale. Increased of 40,000 units compared to last two flash sales which saw almost 60,000 being made available for pre-booking.

On Monday, Xiaomi and Flipkart offered 1,50,000 Redmi 1S units to customers – the first sale made in India without requiring any registrations. I grabbed!

IMG_0863As per the exclusive online retailer of Xiaomi handsets, Flipkart in India claims that over 2,00,000 (two lakh) customers have registered for the sixth flash sale of the Redmi 1S, priced at Rs. 5,999.

The Flipkart page suggests consumers to register for each flash sale separately and notes,

Registrations will not be carried over. You need to register again for next sale.

Considering the limited Redmi 1S stocks, which will be made available in India, the e-commerce site also revealed that it will limit orders to one phone per registered email ID per sale. Non Sense? Who can use another email and register for yet another Redmi 1S to sell in in black, which in my sight seen, was selling it at Rs. 7,500 to Rs. 8,500.

xiaomi_redmi_1s_flipkart_register_pageXiaomi had given me a two microSD-card adapter and a screen protector with the purchase of Redmi 1S, and Flipkart sent me in just three days, actually the orders will be delivered in 7-10 days time period.xiaomi_redmi1s_rear_officialPriced at Rs.5,999, it’s worthy to buy a smartphone running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, and MIUI on top of it, which also supports Google Play Store, and Android apps, and the Android Theme Launchers as well, alongside Xiaomi Redmi 1S comes pre-loaded with MIUI themes. Sync options, IM Cloud storage, microSD card support and still got lot more to write. More off, it’s Android 4.4.4 KitKat upgradable, not now, but in the coming days.

I actually tried for Xiaomi Mi3, but bought Redmi 1s only in one click, “Buy Now“. Photos placed below of my Redmi 1S posing to camera.

My opinion! Not only Redmi 1S, but the Mi3 and Mi4 will definitely crash all the smartphone market in India with its unique design and its quad-core performance enhancements, when compared to my iPhone 4, Redmi 1s is more powerful than the Apple’s running on iOS 7.1.2. I will show you all the tests in a YouTube video soon.

Go, head over to Flipkart on October 14 at 2pm and buy Redmi 1S and test it yourself.
