Official Android 4.0.3 ICS With TouchWiz For Galaxy S II Leaked, Ready To Install/Flash [How-To Tutorial]

Here’s an early build of the official Android 4.0.1 ICS ROM released for the Galaxy S II (s2) a few days ago, today, the official TouchWiz’s Android 4.0.3 ICS ROM has been leaked and we’ve full instructions on how to install it on your Galaxy S II.

The fact is, tow ROMs have been leaked. Android 40.1 (build: XXKP4) and Android 4.0.3 (build: XXKP8) for Galaxy S II. In this tutorial, we will cover on how to flash Android 4.0.3 XXKP8, while a. We already covered an earlier build of 4.0.1 b. 4.0.3 is actually adviced by SamMobile – a blog dedicated to covering mobile products by Samsung – in the form of a short post in which they share hands-on video, screenshots and discussed the leak and how to flash it.

Before started, please note that this is an early build of ICS and is, thus, not stable yet for use as a daily purpose. This only works on the international version of Galaxy S II and not on the Galaxy S2 Epic 4G Touch, Skyrocket or other Galaxy versions.

Begin with a backup of your device data now!

Step 1: Download the following files:

  • ODIN 1.83 [HotFile]
  • Leaked Android 4.0.3 ICS XXKP8 [HotFile] (password: samfirmware.com)

Well they are in .zip/.RAR file, so, extract the ICS ROM. Place its content to your desktop for an easy access later in the guide.

Step 2: Having Samsung KIES opened, then shut it down completely.

Step 3: Launch ODIN now.

Step 4: Turn off your Galaxy S II. Once shut down, press and hold Volume Up + Home + Power while booting up to enter Download Mode.

Step 5: Connect your Galaxy S II with PC via USB. ODIN will detect it.

Step 6: Click on PDA and select: I9100_CODE_I9100XXKP8_CL42141_REV02_user_low_ship. tar.md5 which extracted and  you placed on desktop in Step 1.

Step 7: Click on PHONE and select: MODEM_I9100XXKP8_REV_02_CL1092599.tar.md5

Step 8: Similarly, click CSC and select: GT-I9100-MULTI-CSC-OXAKP8.tar.md5

Step 9: Click to START

Step 10: ODIN will now flash the leaked ROM to your Galaxy S II. Once phone restarts, unplug it from your PC.

Following the steps correctly will result, a leaked early build of Android 4.0.3 ICS with TouchWiz will be installed on Galaxy S II.
