Microsoft is said to reportedly planning to launch Lumia ‘Superman’ and a top-end highly affordable Lumia Tesla next month, both the handsets are rumored. The Lumia Superman is the smartphone, expected to be a sequel to the Lumia 720 and currently have come across more details on the device.
Although the alleged Lumia ‘Superman’, set to target the selfie crowd and now, according to some sources familiar with the company’s plans, Vice President of Devices, Stephen Elop demoed Nokia ‘Superman’ and a high-end smartphone dubbed Lumia ‘Tesla’ in an internal meeting earlier this week.
Still got three model numbers that are said to be part of the rumored Lumia ‘Superman’ handset, the RM-983, RM-984 and RM-985. About the device, which Lumia ‘Superman’ is tipped to have a 4.7-inch display with 720P resolution. Powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU, paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.
The phone is also speculated to sporta 6.5-megapixel rear-facing shooter and a 5MP selfie camera upfront. Connectivity options on the Nokia ‘Superman’ include LTE support. And the device should come with Windows Phone 8.1 update 1 installed and it is expected to launch on AT&T and Verizon in the third week of August.
Now about the Lumia ‘Tesla’, which could be a successor to the Lumia 720, and at an affordable price tag, the handset is tipped to sport PureView camera and could eventually run Windows Phone 8.1 GDR1 out-of-the-box.
