Google has officially announced Android 5.0 Lollipop a couple of days ago and apparently said to be rolling out in the coming days from now. Sony with its Xperia Z series, joined the Lollipop flavor to be updated for its smartphones, while Motorola and HTC have already got their plans in getting the update for its devices. Now that, yet another report surfaced suggesting that the 5.0 Lollipop update will be received by the Nexus 7 (2012) and 2013 models, alongside the Nexus 10 tablet starting November 3rd.
Although, the Google’s LG-made Nuxus 4, Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 with LTE will be getting the Android 5.0 ‘L’ update with the aforementioned devices by the end of this month. However, it also states that the hardware with cellular capabilities will have to wait a bit longer for Android L updates, dues to the more effort that goes into the updating process.
Android 5.0 Lollipop SDK will be made available for download and install on some slected devices soon, and for testing purposes only and the version that brings the material Design to the major visual enhancement due to the main feature, offering stronger security tech, notifications, battery saving mode and et al.
