Breaking news report published about, both Microsoft and Sony willing to announce their next-generation at this years E3 conference. Full details on Electronic Entertainment Expo after the break!
According to Techradar – one of the popular technology blog in a form of a report in which they cite Market for Computer & Video Games (MVC) claims that both Sony and Microsoft will be revealing their next generation consoles at E3 2012.
Both the Xbox 360 successor AND a follow up to the PS3 will be shown at E3 2012.
The LA show tease will come as Wii U launch details are locked in – and should ensure no ground is lost between competing consoles.
Blog said that, both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 are getting a little long in the tooth, both have performed admirably in the past year, and with the arrival of motion sensors for both the life-cycle of this generation’s consoles is clearly not complete. Sales are expected to stay strong until next generation consoles themselves lower in retail price or offer good enough games that make the upgrade a worthwhile one.
We can take it like a rumor and we don’t know until E3 arrives, one of the most important shows in gaming history, with the Sony PS4 and next Xbox to be announced. MCV’s sources are likely right about the announcement of the “Xbox 720” and PlayStation 4. Its been more than five years since the seventh generation of consoles – Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 – were introduced, and this is time we saw the eighth generation.
