Motorola has finally revealed the price for the newly launched Moto X (Gen 2) in India, as it promised earlier this month. It was unveiled as the successor to the official Motorola Moto X. 2nd-Gen smartphone will be available exclusively via Flipkart.
On September 5, the company has introduced the world with its next version of the smartphone, but without announcing price in India, but revealed the US cost at $499.99 (roughly Rs. 30,200). Today, it did officially!
The Moto X (2nd-Gen) features a 5.2-inch (1080×1920 pixel) OLED display with a pixel density of 423 ppi, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Ships with Android 4.4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box, and powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974-AC) processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM. Available in two storage size variants – 16GB and 32GB, with no expandability via microSD card slot.
The new Moto X comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.25 lens with 4K video recording and dual-LED ring flash, as well a 2-megapixel front-facing camera capable of 1080p video recording. Packs a single front speaker below the display. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 80211.ac, Bluetooth 4.0LE, Micro-USB, and 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 140.8×72.4×9.97mm, and weighs 144 grams. It is powered by a 2300mAh battery. It uses a single nano SIM and several rear finishes including wood and leather.
