Although the Motorola Shamu or purported Nexus 6 launch is coming closer to its official announcement and today, its specs leaked into wild, suggesting that the Nexus X to include 5.9-inch QHD display, 13-megapixel camera and many more.
According to the report that surfaced about the Nexus phone, will have a similar Moto X design – as the sides will contain the same aluminum trim and the rear will be identical to the original Motorola Moto X Volume rocker and lock button will be present in the middle of the side rack. The device is also said to sport a black dual front-facing stereo speakers.
The mockup was uploaded by Android Police, who noted that, it’s “Based on new information, I’ve put together this image that depicts – as faithfully as possible – what the Nexus 6 will look like,” adding that he can “confirm it will be a 5.9-inch device called the Nexus 6.”
Other specifications on the Nexus phone include a 2.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, 13MP rear camera with optical image stabilization, 2-megapixel front-facing shooter and a 3200+ mAh battery are also confirmed. It’s an Android L runner and apparently capable of using Motorola’s Turbo Charger and paired with a 3GB of RAM.
Notably, the image also shows revamped icons on an Android L home screen, including the dialer, Chrome, and Play Store. Appears to be the Messaging app – speculated to include Hangouts as an option. You can also see the presence of folders, such as one for Google apps, one for the the Drive suite of editing apps, and one for Play – which may include either games or apps downloaded from Google Play.
The concept of the Nexus 6 or Nexus X also got no demarcated status bar on top, with WiFi, network signal and battery indicators visible above the background and poses a solid look in-line Android L’s Material Design architecture.

an alleged Nexus 6 aka Nexus X was seen running an AOSP (Android Open Source Project) build of Android L in another leaked image. The model number of the device in the leaked image was seen listed as ‘AOSP on Shamu’ tipping that it might be from a prototype device.
