Motorola Moto X Reportedly To Go On Sale This Week [RUMOR]

In the previous article we have discussed about the latest Moto X which will be coming with a “Magic Glass” lens and that came true, now, a leaked image of the Motorola’s Moto X front face shows that the bezel may be as smooth as glass. Apart this, Motorola will officially announce the new Moto X smartphone at a press event on August 1st, and it’s rumored that the handset may actually go on sale this week itself. Google acquired company – Motorola has apparently started shipping the new Moto X out of various mobile carriers and also retailers ahead of the press media event in New York on this Thursday at 8PM, which means that the Android handset may end up in stores this Friday.

Specifications of the new Motorola Moto X device is expected to feature a dual-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, comes with a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage featuring a HD display. With 4.5-inch screen, Moto X will come with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels display and the Motorola handset to come with an Adreno 320 GPU.

The Motorola Moto X camera is equipped with a 10.5-megapixel rear camera for capturing photos and videos and a 2.1MP front facing snapper. The Moto X handset will also feature NFC with a 2,200 mAh battery.


The handset will be live to pre-order after the official announcement and is expected to launch in major carriers in the US, which includes Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and US Cellular. Stay tuned to grabi to know about the official launch date of the handset. (Via Techradar)
