Rumors surfaced about Motorola trying to pull Apple’s move of shutting down the online store ahead, the launch of a new phone. But it’s not rue anymore, if you visit Moto Maker website, you’ll be greeted with a message that says “it’s getting a tune up“. Finally, it means that Moto Maker is down for “a tune up“.
No reason why Apple or Motorola disabling their online stores while adding a new smartphone, but it creates a drama and confusion to attract attention. Or could be a maintenance update going on.
Although, Motorola is scheduled an event next week, but it’s not going to the IFA 2014 in Berlin, rather sent out press invites to the media for September 4, where the company is expected to launch a number of budget and high-end devices.
Motorola will hold its own event to unveil Moto X+1, the Moto G2, launch the Moto 360 smartwatch and a Bluetooth headset. Mark your calendars for September 4th as we’re going to see a number of new devices from the company.
Notably, you can still get through to the Moto Maker, but it’s recommended holding off until you see the new gadgets on September 4. Stay tuned!
