Motorola after launching Moto X 64GB variant for $499 in June started prepping to launch the second-generation of its Moto G series, called it the Moto G2? A leaked image of the alleged handset surfaced along with some key features. Full details after this break!
Until now an image has cropped up revealing what appears to be the Moto G successor, and with the device which has taken some design queues from the Moto E with a front-facing speaker grille.
Although the leaked image and specs come from a Spanish website, Mellando no Android, and indicate the refreshed Moto G (expected to be called the Moto G2) to share the same design aesthetics like Moto E. The Alleged Moto G2 image is seen with two front-speakers and almost the same curved corners as the original, with sensors or camera in the top right corner.
As per the leaked specifications, the unannounced Moto G2 is reportedly said to be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor coupled with Adreno 305 GPU for handling graphics. The screen of unknown size has a 720p HD resolution, there’s dual-SIM slots and an 8 MP snapper instead of 5MP rear-facing camera of the original.
Motorola has not confirmed any official Moto G2’s pricing, specs or availability. Expected that the purported Moto G2 will be released running Android ‘L’ OS version onboard.
Although Motorola India has announced the roll out of the latest Android 4.4.4 KitKat update for its Moto E, Moto G and Moto X smartphones users in India.
