Alraedy got the second-generation Moto G, so many might be expecting to see the successor for the even lower-priced Motorola’s Moto E to surface any moment now.
According to a new rumored report from Greece, the 2nd-generation Moto E will be made official “soon enough”, and like the Moto X and Moto G, it will come with hardware improvements compared to its predecessors, I mean the first-gen Moto E.
Rumored specs for the new Moto E is said to feature a 4.5-inch touchscreen with 540×960 pixels resolution, 5MP primary camera with LED flash and supports LTE connectivity. Chipset which it packs hasn’t detailed, but expected the upcoming handset will come with innards similar to tose in the original Moto G from 2013.
Would be Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC or could be powered by a Snapdragon 410 with a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU or octa-core, aided by 1GB of RAM. The new Moto E 2nd-Gen will be Android 5.0 Lollipop runner out of the box and it will obviously be extemely affordable though whether it will keep the price point of the already selling Moto E hasn’t been revealed.
What you see above is the first-gen Moto E. The new model will look pretty similar, however.
