Mac OS X Lion Gets Installed at Apple Stores & Care Support Centers

Apple Set to Launch/Release Mac OS X Lion for the General Public on Wednesday . After weeks of anticipated and Rumors about Mac OS X Lion, we heard a word that Copies of OS X Lion are shipping to Apple Stores for the Mac Demo units in the Floor. Also this Mac Lion is also getting Installed at AppleCare Support Centers, according to Cultofmac .

Mac OS X Lion and MacBook Air with Thunderbolt is rumored to be dropping this Wednesday morning at 8:30 A.M Eastern.

According to MacRumors :

“We’ve now been able to confirm that Apple Retail stores have begun receiving final copies of OS X Lion today. The installations have come on hard drive and are meant for the Apple Retail demo computers on the store floor. This, of course, doesn’t guarantee a specific launch date, but brings Apple one step closer to launch.”

According to 9to5mac :

“We’ve received word that all AppleCare reps are now receiving Lion training as well as getting their computers upgraded to Lion.  The process began over the weekend and looks to be completing today.

We’ve heard numerous reports that new Store display materials have been arriving over the past week as well.”

According to AppleInsider : Golden Master copies of Mac OS X 10.7 Lion arrive on hard disks at Apple stores

“Proven sources indicated to AppleInsider earlier Monday that Apple will release Lion alongside new Thunderbolt-equipped MacBook Airs as early as Wednesday. According to one person familiar with the matter, the products will be released at 8:30 a.m. Eastern on Wednesday.”
