Lenovo has this week officially announced a new range of convertable slates added to its Yoga range of Android-powered tablets with the addition of a 8-and 10-inch. Priced at $249 and $299 respectively. Full details and review can be grabbed after this fold!
Both the Lenovo Yoga tablets are powered by a 1.2GHz MediaTek MT8125 quad-core processor supported by 1GB of RAM, and fitted with screens offering 1280 x 800 pixels resolution display. The Yoga Slates will go on sale starting later today in the US, which are also equipped with 16GB of internal storage for app and media and are fitted with microSD card slots.
In addition, the Android 4.2.2 tablets sport huge batteries, which can last 16-18 hours, claims Lenovo. 8-inch Yoga features a 600mAh battery and measures 8.4 x 5.7 x 0.29 inches weighing at 14 ounces. The Lenovo Yoga 10-inch model is fitted with a 9000mAh battery and measures 10.3 x 7.1 x 0.32 inches weighing at 1.3 pounds.
In fact, Lenovo has also implemented a small kickstand within the design of Yoga tablet, allowing you stand your Android slate for viewing when required unless you tilt your tablet from 110 to 135 degress. With additional grip when holding the tablet with one hand, Lenovo has also designed Yoga gadget to be small and unobstrutive unlike other kickstands.
Additionally, Lenovo created a new Bluetooth Yoga keyboard which has been exclusively designed for the new 10″ Yoga tablet to provide users with a physical keyboard for typing lengthy documents.
\According to the report, the new Lenovo Yoga 8-inch Android tablet is now available for $249 at Best Buy, and the 10-inch Yoga tablet will be rolling out to a wide variety of retail stores at $299. For an extra $69, you can buy the new Yoga keyboard case, though, it’s optional.
