Jailbreaking Your iPhone 4S May Stop Siri, But Now Resolved

Two bad situations arise when thinking of iPhone 4S owners who’re eagerly waiting for the 4S iPhone jailbreak which supposed to release in couple of days. Bad news is, first, if you upgrade your iPhone 4S to the latest iOS 5.0.1 firmware, you will be loosing the iPhone 4S unlock, second is, when you jailbreak iPhone 4S, tethered or untethered you will be stopping your Siri Voice assistant with your own hands.
The iPhone hacker Stefen Essar, known as i0nic says, Apple’s voice assistant feature Siri stopped on his iPhone 4S after running the untethered jailbreak.
He also said, claims that there might be a jailbreak detection in Siri which will stop Siri from working on the 4S device. Stefan Essar tweets this on his Twitter account that “Siri stopped working after a day of runnng with Kernal on the iPhone 4S”. How strange, isn’t it?
As we are nearing to the most anticipated launch of the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 (A5) untethered jailbreak is on its way to the jailbreaking community. We’ve already shown you a video of iPhone 4S 5.0.1 iOS untethered jailbreak and a screenshot showing iPad 2 jailbroken untethered on iOS 5.0.1, and a photo showed that confirmed by Planetbeing that he has running IntelliScreenX on the iPad 2 after jailbreaking untethered.
While when we think about the i0nic note, its a bad news for iPhone 4S users, but many thinks that jailbreaking 4S iPhone isn’t the reason stopping Siri to work. It might be Apple servers which caused Siri stopped working. Once jailbreak releases for the iPhone 4S and iPad 2, don’t rush, and wait until the issue is fixed and after confirming, you are ready to perform.
Update : Stefen Esser once agin tweets that he resolved the problem after a reboot.
