Already Apple released the factory unlocked iPhone 4S to the public, but here’s another upcoming unlock solution will only work for iPhone 4S, the latest generation of iPhone running on iOS 5.

This is excellent news for iPhone 4S users; although it will leave many iPhone 4 owners disappointed.

If you are an iPhone 4S user and purchased an locked iOS device and staying in another country where there is no availability of unlocked iPhone 4S, or you got this 4S in a contract basis, then this unlock i4S solution will work better. But, in order to get the unlock solution, first your Apple iPhone 4S needs to be jailbroken, so that you can do so.

MuscleNerd tweet goes on to confirm that this unlock works only with the 4S (and not the iPhone 4), suggesting that it relies on a hardware-level exploit that went overlooked during the 4S’ creation. While such exploits are increasingly rare, they’re also considerably more challenging for Apple to patch post-manufacturing.
