The iPhone 4S And iPad 2 Untethered Jailbreak For (A5) iOS 5.0.1 Status Update

Apple has today released an iOS software update and seeded to developers only as a beta version of three for iOS 5.1 (build 9B5141Aa). Pod2g is working hard to push an untethered jailbreak for iPhone 4S and iPad 2 running iOS 5.0.1. The latest status update was to be the dream team who were going to help pod2g to release Untethered A5 jailbreak, including all these four iPhone hackers and developers (such as MuscleNerd, P0sixNinja, PlanetBeing and of course Pod2G), the question is how many of iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users are satisfied with the A4 5.0.1 untethered iOS jailbreak, which was released a few days ago. I am an iPhone 4 users and i already jailbroken my device running on iOS 5.0.1 because of Factory unlock i didn’t faced any problems to unlock. But there’s several other who are still facing issues, even though the iPhone Dev Team has updated its jailbreaking tool “Redsn0w” to the version 0.9.10b3. There are still a majority of people still waiting for the iPad 2 and iPhone 4S untethered jailbreak. And also waiting for the iOS 4.3.5 untethered jailbreak which is still unknown. Those who are stucked in iOS 4.3.5 update, there are not able to update of jailbreak the latest version, but with some tricks, some of them already upgraded and unlocked as well.
Aparet from this, there isn’t any new official or unofficial updates from the Dream team so far about A5 untethered jailbreak. The reason the A5 Untethered Jailbreak has not been released is because the exploit Pod2G used to inject the untethering files to the 4S and iPad 2 relies on having an official developer account. would additionally release a new firmware version shortly after to patch the exploit before the Dream Team would have a chance to make a full public release of it. Already done with an Over the air software update in the form of iOS 5.0.1 beta 3, which was seeded to developers only.
At this time there has been no official release date mentioned, as it has been noted numerous times on Twitter that there are currently sandbox issues present.With Pod2G working with other famous Jailbreak developers such as MuscleNerd and Planetbeing, however, we can hope for a release in the month of January or never!
Pod2g could release his A5 untethered jailbreak for iPad 2 and iPhone 4S running iOS 5.0.1 expected as soon as this weekend of 15th or 16th or at the end of January 2012.
