A rumor surfaced on the web that iPad 3 will be released on the day of Steve Jobs’ Birthday, which is on February 24th. iPad 3 Release date is set for that day, according to some rumors say.
Apple team is eager to launch iPad 3 on 24th February 2012 in the honor of Steve Jobs’ birthday anniversary, according to the Focus Taiwan.
A local Chinese-language newspaper reported Friday that iPad3 might be launched on Feb. 24 to mark the anniversary of the birth of Apple’s late co-founder Steve Jobs.
Citing sources close to Taiwanese makers in the iPad3 supply chain, the Economic Daily News said the gadget could be launched in mid-first quarter of next year or by the end of next March.

After the iPhone 4S successfully took the tech market by storm, the iPad3 is widely expected to be Apple’s first hit product to be released next year. Industry sources said the first shipment of the iPad3 could exceed 4 million units. Because it is a new gadget, it is taking time for makers in the supply chain to raise their yield rates. The sources said all OEM and ODM makers have exercised great caution in ensuring the smooth operations of their production lines.
While this will be a good news but what processor integrated into the iPad 3, and what about iPhone 5. It’d be wise to be skeptical about the exact release date given the sourcing, although the iPad 3 is widely expected to debut sometime in the earlier half of 2012.
The 3rd-generation iPad is expected to have a high resolution 2048 x 1536 retina display and sported with quad-core CPU, as usual Siri integration, and which will be available as a dual mode GSM/CDMA modem for the 3G models.
