Matrix Reveals Prices Of iPad 3 With Features Likely Start at $499

A few days from now, what are the remaining mysteries ahead of the iPad 3 launch next week are the prices and the configurations. Here comes a good news for all who are eagerly waiting for the Apple’s next iPad.

Last week there was a rumor which indicated that the United States prices would increase by $70 to $80, but that doesn’t appear to be the case. Well, when i was surfing the web, i noticed that a breaking news already exists in the form of a post pointing to the iPad 3 price. 9to5Mac has got word that iPad pricing is going to be the same across the board as the current iPad 2 models which should be no big surprise given Apple’s history – they rarely raise prices.

It would have been interesting move on Apple’s part to raise the prices on its new tablet considering the fact that the company rarely raises the prices on its devices. The original iPad started at $499 as did the the iPad 2 when it arrived in March of last year. There have been whispers about a 128GB model, especially if Apple introduces HD content and a new camera, but it appears that this won’t be the case.

While the other countries with currencies doing better than the US dollar should expect to see marginal drops in prices. The configurations appear to be the same as current 16/32/64GB. One of the strange succession of posts from Digitimes this week said that Apple would move to 8GB/16GB/32GB.  That appears even less likely than before, if that is possible.

While this will be having no bearing on LTE one way or another and before you go through, see the Model numbers which are as follows:

MC706LL/A – J1 BETTER A-USA

Apple’s next iPad is rumored to include a high-resolution Retina Display, a powerful processor, upgraded cameras, a similar design to the iPad 2, and 4G LTE connectivity. The event will kick off on Wednesday, March 7th at 10am PST, where Apple CEO Tim Cook will likely take the stage and announce Apple’s next tablet of iPad HD.

Thank’s to 9to5Mac for this iPad 3 pricing report!
