HTC Hima Is A New Flagship To Pack 5-Inch Full HD, Snapdragon 810 SoC [Report]

Already reported about the HTC One M9 specs rumored a few days ago with a 5.5-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 805 chipset and a 16MP primary camera with OIS technology. Other alleged specs include 3GB of RAM and a 3500mAh battery as well. But today we have felt in front of yet another speculation and it claims something new.


Today, @upleaks reports HTC won’t be using the M codenames hereafter anymore and the next flagship is now called to be HIMA (aka One M9). With a batch of specs of the next Android gadget, he reports that the successor to the HTC One (M8) will sport an increadibly top end tech and best features on the go.

The HTC Hima as per the leaks packs a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1080p screen and to power with a Snapdragon 810 chip. The latter offers an Octa-Core CPU with 4 Cortex-A57 cores at 2GHz and 4 Cortex-A53 cores at 1.5GHz, Adreno 430 GPU (graphics) and paired with 3GB of RAM.

HTC Hima to pack 20.7MP rear camera and a 13MP or 4MP Ultrapixel front sensor. Connectivity front it must provide LTE Cat.6 support, with a 2840mAh battery and run Android 5.0 Lollipop plus HTC Sense 7.0 UI out of the box which complete with the rumored specs list.

Expected to see the HTC Hima announced very soon, obviously at CES and go on sale in March. Upleaks already claims that its already in testing in all major US carrier for the primetime debut.

This isn’t all. The popular tipster also hints HTC will unveil a few Desire smartphones at MWC. HTC Hima Ace phone is also in works with an affordable price tag, the edition of Hima – like the HTC One E8 – with dual-SIM support.
