CyanogenMod 7 Android Port for HP TouchPad Tablet Support WiFi, Android Market and Accelerometer that was missing in the previous Android Port Preview and after Multitouch Support was added to the HP TouchPad. Major updates include support for WiFi Connectivity, basic audio support, and limited support for the Google Android Market due to non supported Display Resolution. Where the Accerometer is also working, so that you can automatically Rotate the Screen just by changing the position of the HP Tablet from Landscape to Potrait or Vice Versa, importantly the Video Gaming Motion Sensors are also fixed.
CyanogenMod team is working on some applications that are no working yet, like the YouTube Video App, but you can use the Web Browser to Watch Videos and Online Videos site and the playback is still not clear. This CyanogenMod 7 is a custom Android Distribution based on Google Open Source code for Android 2.3 Gingerbread, which includes some tweaks for Android based Tablets, so CyanogenMod team might upgrade to Android 3.2 Honeycomb anytime.
CynogenMod Release of HP TouchPad which will take some time until all the kinks are removed by the team before final release to general public. CyanogenMod 7 team won’t be releasing their Android port for the HP TouchPad to the public until some more of the kinks are worked out. via
