How to Set up iCloud in iOS 5 – Steps

What is iCloud ?

iCloud stores your music, photos, documents, and more and wirelessly pushes them to all your devices. Automatic, effortless, and seamless. Every new iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch comes with iOS 5. And every new Mac comes with OS X Lion. Which means the new Apple devices you purchase are all ready for iCloud, right out of the box.

Customize your iCloud settings

Tap the Settings icon and select iCloud. Tap the On/Off switches to enable individual iCloud services, including Photo Stream, Documents, Find My iPhone, and more.

To enable Backup, tap Storage & Backup, then switch on iCloud Backup.

How to Set up iCloud in iOS 5 Firmware

Step 1 – First of all Open Settings app on your iDevice Home Screen.

Step 2 – Now Tap on the iCloud tab

Step 3 – Now Login to iCloud using your Existing Apple ID or MobileMe account. If not, create a new Apple Account from the Screen

Step 4 – Choose/Select what the data you Prefer to Sync with iCloud by flicking the Switches beside them to “ON” Option.

Step 5 – Now Tap on Storage & Backup tab at the Bottom, so that you can find that you have 5GB of Complimentary Storage. Check for How much Storage you are having (Availability), or it should dismiss as your Data begins to Sync with iCloud. Need More than 5GB Space, then tap the Buy More Storage Button. Cost you $20 per year for 15GB, $40 FOR 25GB per Yera and $100 for 55GB per Year.

Step 6 – From the Storage & Backup tab, you can backup your Device to iCloud to Enable. iCloud Backup (Tab Labled), can be seen towards the Button, and make sure the Switch is “ON” Position, if you want your Device backed up to the iCloud Service.

Important Note – If you are running out the Storage in iCloud, then do not panic, the iOS Device will alart you, so that you can always buy more or can also Stopped Syncing certain Data with iCloud.
