Apple has a few days ago released iOS 7.1.2 firmware update for its iDevices, and that’s the software update brings many bug fixes and performance enhancements. Surprise is that, according to the latest report, the newly rolled out iOS 7.1.2 IPSW has arrived with some sort of Calendar bugs, which doesn’t list the correct Holidays, even when the right region is selected. How to fix tutorial will be coming soon. Stay tuned!
This report surfaced from PhoneArena, where one of their readers who has updated their iPad Air and iPhone 5s in Lithuania region noticed that the Calendar was showing wrong holidays, rather than displaying it for his region, it was eventually showing holidays for Mexico, Hong Kong and Canada. Great!
He then emailed Apple about this issue, and surprisingly received a response as well. Apple said in their response about a software issue with the Calendar app, and it will be fixed in the next iOS software update. Though, they failed to mention the time frame, except the update to land in the coming months.
Although, Apple is pretty much interested in launching iOS 8, alongside the new and highly-anticipated and alleged iPhone 6, later this fall, possibly in September 2014.
But we’ll update you as soon as Apple releases an update to fix such Calendar bugs. In the meantime, let us look and dig for yet another bug to fix.
