Although it’s not the first time we’re talking about Microsoft’s much-leaked ;Shamu’ handset – rumored to be the next Nexus smartphone, called it Nexus 6. Expected to launch this Fall and with a new reports points today to an alleged Shamu benchmark listing which includes specifications, while another report hints an October 31 launch date. Benchmark results of the device called ‘Google Shamu’ have been spotted on the AnTuTu website, and as per the listing, suggested specs of the Nexus 6 as as follows. It comes with a 5.2-inch Quad-HD (1440×2560 pixels) display, a quad-core 2.7GHz (precisely 2649MHz) Snapdragon 805 processor (APQ8084), Adreno 420 GPU, and 3GB of RAM. The primary rear camera is suggested to be a 13-megapixel camera, while there will be a 2.1MP front camera also onboard.
Officially, the alleged Shamu aka Google Nexus 6 smartphone runs on Android L (Android 4.5 OS). When compared the leaked specifications with the previous GFXBench results for the Motorola Shamu, the GFXBench results had also showed an impressive 714 frames per second onscreen score for the alleged Motorola Shamu.
About the rumored launch date of the Nexus 6 which points to an Oct. 31 unveiling. We have to wait for a couple of months more. The another report has also indicated that the next Nexus smartphone built by Motorola will sport a 5.9-inch display and comes with a fingerprint sensor.
