Google Developing Siri-Like User Interface For Google TV?

As the Google is in hurry and rushing for a patent, it is apparently visible that the Google is Developing Siri-Like UI User Interface for Google TV . After the rumor of Apple’s new HDTV would come with some kind of Siri integration which will apparently allow you to control your TV with voice commands, now the Google might be plannig to enter the race.

A patent application newly unearthed by Patently Apple reveals that a patent was submitted at the US Patent and Trademark Office by the Google relating to voice controls for Google TV using either an application or a voice enabled remote control.

Just six days prior to Apple officially launching iCloud and siri, google was rushing their patent application to the US Patent and Trademark Office covering a new google tv remote and/or application. The new remote will use voice controls associated with google’s own cloud services. The user will be able to use their Android Phone as the remote to make inquiries about tv shows and the tv will list what’s available as illustrated in our cover graphic. Apple has had a similar feature under Remote for several years now, but it doesn’t relate to live tv as google’s will. google’s real competitor on this particular front will come from Samsung who just announced their latest tv remote with voice controls and a touch pad. The race to bring the best next generation tv Remote to market is officially on.

Though it seems that Google is working on Siri like Interface, it is still unclear whether the Google will blend it’s future Google TV devices with voice controls or not.
