As we repoerted yesterday, Gmail for iPhone was due to be released in the next few days, but Google has released the highly anticipated Gmail app for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad with pretty good features and functions.
what does this Official Gmail app brings to your iOS Device that the native Mail app doesn’t have already? then, here’s few features you may have been after for a while; it seems Google has put a lot of their web based experience into this app, and many are excited, as their web based experience is about start as it gets. We hope they haven’t released another buggy app like the Google+ app was, we certainly don’t want to update our new Gmail app within hours of its release.
Here’s some of new features Google have included on their Gmail app as jotted down by the official Gmail blog:
* Push notifications
* Search across all emails
* Autocomplete from you gmail/phone contacts
* Upload photos with the attachment button
* On iPad you can navigate mail with split mode.
Using this Gmail app, you can organize your mail freely and you don’t need to search and search through your mail constantly looking for that important mail, or Photo from a friend. For all the People here’s a Complete inbox set, or in fact you work mates with “priority mail”. You can also organize your mail by labling, archiving, starring, deleting and reporting spam (which for all is a massive plus).
With bunch of new features, this app has been optimized s you can perform the simplest tasks with very user-friendly gestures, you can pull to refresh your inbox, or folder if you want to refresh, or you can swipe through to view your labels without having to even leave the inbox, or slide through each mail seamlessly viewing one by one at a time.

All clear, Google has put a lot of ideas into their new Gmail app. so, and my GF currently downloading it and will be setting up his mail soon and you do the same.
