We already informed you guys in our yesterdays article, that Samsung will not launch its Galaxy S3 at Mobile World Congress and surely will come with an alternative new device. Here already some rumors surfaced that the Samsung will unveil a new Galaxy Tab with Android 4.0 and 2GHz Processor at MWC in February. Yesterday, the Galaxy S III makes appearance on Samsung’s official website.
This rumor is based upon a prototype that was displayed at CES 2012. And the Android and Me explained about it. The prototype was apparently powered by a dual-core 2 GHz Exynos 5250 processor and Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. The guess is, if the Samsung has already displayed the Galaxy Tab’s prototype at CES 2012, surely it will annouce the device at MWC, which is the right place for a new release.
Up to this date, Samsung is offering its Tablets with screen sizes of 10.1, 8.2 and 7.7 inches. The rumor is that, now Samsung is decarating its new Galaxy Tab with bigger display. It is unclear how much bigger the display on the new device will be but the guess is, it might feature a display of 10 inches with WXQGA (2560×1600) resolution. If it is true, in terms of screen size, it would be the biggest device Samsung ever had.
While the Galaxy S III release at MWC has been postponed, this a nice alternative for the Samsung to launch the new Galaxy Tab at Mobile World Congress, which will be held in February 2012. Atleast Samsung is coming with something. Nice anyway….!
