While all the rumors are spreading out, that Samsung itself has announced nothing about the Galaxy S II HD’s release in the UK at this time, and the company is very much tight lipped about the price, specifications and the release date of the device. Which are not announced yet!
Usually, it is a general happening that, at the time of phone launching the smartphone manufacturers launch their handsets first in abroad like Asia and Europe rather than sending them for the United States market. Now as an exception, the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket HD for the AT&t’s 4G LTE was announced at the CES 2012, that the device is going to be unveiled first in the U.S. market. Now the news is, the device may also be introduced in UK after released in the US.
Though the Samsung is saying nothing, there is an add about this new device in the MobiCity, which was discovered by Smartphone blog MoDaCo. According to the specifications revealed in that add, the Samsung Galaxy S II HD will be a ‘bigger, better, newer version of the popular S II,’ with a ‘higher resolution screen and more battery power.’
The add also says that the device comes with the same 4.65-inch Super AMOLED HD display as the Galaxy Nexus, but without the curved glass, when it was announced for AT&T. And the Galaxy S II HD may also Eqipped with LTE, NFC, Bluetooth 3.0, 8-megapixel camera, and 1850 mAh battery.
While there were also gossips in the past about the third-generation phone Galaxy S III, that would be introduced in February at the Mobile World Congress. If the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket HD is not hurried to be unveiled before or at the Mobile World Congress, surely it will be outdated by the Galaxy S III. We will see how Samsung will react.
