Galaxy Nexus To Get Android 4.0.5 ICS Update Next Month

Reports, Verizon are been testing the Samsung Galaxy Nexus which would be getting the upgraded mobile OS version of Android 4.0.5 Ice Cream Sandwich next month. Details after the break!

According to @black_man_x, is currently being tested on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus with US mobile carrier Verizon, and is expected to be released early in April.

This wasn’t the first time we’ve heard reports of Android 4.0.5 Ice Cream Sandwich either. It was leaked for the Nexus S in early February as coming in April, not to mention a few days ago rumors were churning regarding that update landing in the next few weeks. According to Black_man_X version 4.0.5 is being tested and currently runs great on the Verizon Galaxy Nexus.

As expected, the Android 4.0.5 ICS upgrade will fix tons of problems, and as said to be confirmed that the UI and launcher appears to all be the same. The next Android ICS update mainly fixes internal things and reboot issues. Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.5 version for Galaxy Nexus appears to fix audio reboot issues, battery life problems, data falling alseep, and maight be fix some enhanced 4G LTE signals too.

If the report is unique, then Verizon Wireless and Google should start pushing Android version of 4.0.5 ICS to Galaxy Nexus in early April. Simply wait and see! Via
