The final version of CyanogenMod 9 is going to bring some Android’s 4.0 OS – Ice Cream Sandwich flavor to the HP TouchPad. CyanogenMod team are working hard on the CM9 which is based on Google’s latest version of Android 4.0 ICS to install into the TopuchPad tablet.
We have already seen the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and the early builds of CM9 running on several tablets, which are in alpha state.
You can check the video embedded below shows CynaogenMod 9 running on the HP TouchPad and apparantly everything is working perfect, the video playback and the camera aren’t yet.
If you are an owner of an WebOS-based HP TouchPad and waiting for the proper Android port, then here’s what the CM9 brings to the table. That was said, CyanogenMod 9 is on the horizon, and looks like Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich for TouchPad came along with since the CM7 alphas.
